利未記

耶和華對摩西說、

The LORD said to Moses,

你曉諭亞倫和他兒子並以色列眾人、說、耶和華所吩咐的、乃是這樣．

"Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: 'This is what the LORD has commanded:

凡以色列家中的人、宰公牛、或是綿羊羔、或是山羊、不拘宰於營內營外、

Any Israelite who sacrifices an ox, a lamb or a goat in the camp or outside of it

若未曾牽到會幕門口、耶和華的帳幕前、獻給耶和華為供物、流血的罪必歸到那人身上．他流了血、要從民中剪除。

instead of bringing it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD in front of the tabernacle of the LORD--that man shall be considered guilty of bloodshed; he has shed blood and must be cut off from his people.

這是為要使以色列人、把他們在田野裡所獻的祭、帶到會幕門口、耶和華面前、交給祭司、獻與耶和華為平安祭。

This is so the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they are now making in the open fields. They must bring them to the priest, that is, to the LORD, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and sacrifice them as fellowship offerings.

祭司要把血灑在會幕門口耶和華的壇上、把脂油焚燒、獻給耶和華為馨香的祭。

The priest is to sprinkle the blood against the altar of the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

他們不可再獻祭給他們行邪淫所隨從的鬼魔．〔原文作公山羊〕這要作他們世世代代永遠的定例。

They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.'

你要曉諭他們說、凡以色列家中的人、或是寄居在他們中間的外人、獻燔祭、或是平安祭、

"Say to them: 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice

若不帶到會幕門口獻給耶和華、那人必從民中剪除。

and does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD--that man must be cut off from his people.

凡以色列家中的人、或是寄居在他們中間的外人、若喫甚麼血、我必向那喫血的人變臉、把他從民中剪除。

"'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who eats any blood--I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people.

因為活物的生命是在血中．我把這血賜給你們、可以在壇上為你們的生命贖罪．因血裡有生命、所以能贖罪．

For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life.

因此我對以色列人說、你們都不可喫血、寄居在你們中間的外人、也不可喫血。

Therefore I say to the Israelites, "None of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood."

凡以色列人、或是寄居在他們中間的外人、若打獵得了可喫的禽獸、必放出他的血來、用土掩蓋。

"'Any Israelite or any alien living among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth,

論到一切活物的生命、就在血中、所以我對以色列人說、無論甚麼活物的血、你們都不可喫、因為一切活物的血、就是他的生命．凡喫了血的、必被剪除。

because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, "You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off."

凡喫自死的、或是被野獸撕裂的、無論是本地人、是寄居的、必不潔淨到晚上、都要洗衣服、用水洗身．到了晚上、纔為潔淨。

"'Anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean.

但他若不洗衣服、也不洗身、就必擔當他的罪孽。

But if he does not wash his clothes and bathe himself, he will be held responsible.'"

	1	耶和華對摩西說、 The LORD said to Moses,
	2	你曉諭亞倫和他兒子並以色列眾人、說、耶和華所吩咐的、乃是這樣． "Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: 'This is what the LORD has commanded:
	3	凡以色列家中的人、宰公牛、或是綿羊羔、或是山羊、不拘宰於營內營外、 Any Israelite who sacrifices an ox, a lamb or a goat in the camp or outside of it
	4	若未曾牽到會幕門口、耶和華的帳幕前、獻給耶和華為供物、流血的罪必歸到那人身上．他流了血、要從民中剪除。 instead of bringing it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD in front of the tabernacle of the LORD--that man shall be considered guilty of bloodshed; he has shed blood and must be cut off from his people.
	5	這是為要使以色列人、把他們在田野裡所獻的祭、帶到會幕門口、耶和華面前、交給祭司、獻與耶和華為平安祭。 This is so the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they are now making in the open fields. They must bring them to the priest, that is, to the LORD, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and sacrifice them as fellowship offerings.
	6	祭司要把血灑在會幕門口耶和華的壇上、把脂油焚燒、獻給耶和華為馨香的祭。 The priest is to sprinkle the blood against the altar of the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

	11	因為活物的生命是在血中．我把這血賜給你們、可以在壇上為你們的生命贖罪．因血裡有生命、所以能贖罪． For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life.
	12	因此我對以色列人說、你們都不可喫血、寄居在你們中間的外人、也不可喫血。 Therefore I say to the Israelites, "None of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood."

	15	凡喫自死的、或是被野獸撕裂的、無論是本地人、是寄居的、必不潔淨到晚上、都要洗衣服、用水洗身．到了晚上、纔為潔淨。 "'Anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean.
	16	但他若不洗衣服、也不洗身、就必擔當他的罪孽。 But if he does not wash his clothes and bathe himself, he will be held responsible.'"
