箴言 | CH. 12 |
1 | 喜爱管教的,就是喜爱知识。恨恶责备的,却是畜类。 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. | ||
2 | 善人必蒙耶和华的恩惠。设诡计的人,耶和华必定他的罪。 A good man obtains favor from the LORD, but the LORD condemns a crafty man. | ||
3 | 人靠恶行不能坚立。义人的根,必不动摇。 A man cannot be established through wickedness, but the righteous cannot be uprooted. | ||
4 | 才德的妇人,是丈夫的冠冕。贻羞的妇人,如同朽烂在她丈夫的骨中。 A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones. | ||
5 | 义人的思念是公平。恶人的计谋是诡诈。 The plans of the righteous are just, but the advice of the wicked is deceitful. | ||
6 | 恶人的言论,是埋伏流人的血。正直人的口,必拯救人。 The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright rescues them. | ||
7 | 恶人倾覆,归于无有。义人的家,必站得住。 Wicked men are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous stands firm. | ||
8 | 人必按自己的智慧被称赞。心中乖谬的,必被藐视。 A man is praised according to his wisdom, but men with warped minds are despised. | ||
9 | 被人轻贱,却有仆人,强如自尊,缺少食物。 Better to be a nobody and yet have a servant than pretend to be somebody and have no food. | ||
10 | 义人顾惜他牲畜的命。恶人的怜悯,也是残忍。 A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel. | ||
11 | 耕种自己田地的,必得饱食。追随虚浮的,却是无知。 He who works his land will have abundant food, but he who chases fantasies lacks judgment. | ||
12 | 恶人想得坏人的网罗。义人的根,得以结实。 The wicked desire the plunder of evil men, but the root of the righteous flourishes. | ||
13 | 恶人嘴中的过错,是自己的网罗。但义人必脱离患难。 An evil man is trapped by his sinful talk, but a righteous man escapes trouble. | ||
14 | 人因口所结的果子,必饱得美福。人手所作的,必为自己的报应。 From the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things as surely as the work of his hands rewards him. | ||
15 | 愚妄人所行的,在自己眼中看为正直。惟智慧人,肯听人的劝教。 The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice. | ||
16 | 愚妄人的恼怒,立时显露。通达人能忍辱藏羞。 A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult. | ||
17 | 说出真话的,显明公义。作假见证的,显出诡诈。 A truthful witness gives honest testimony, but a false witness tells lies. | ||
18 | 说话浮躁的,如刀刺人。智慧人的舌头,却为医人的良药。 Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. | ||
19 | 口吐真言,永远坚立。舌说谎话,只存片时。 Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. | ||
20 | 图谋恶事的,心存诡诈。劝人和睦的,便得喜乐。 There is deceit in the hearts of those who plot evil, but joy for those who promote peace. | ||
21 | 义人不遭灾害恶人满受祸患。 No harm befalls the righteous, but the wicked have their fill of trouble. | ||
22 | 说谎言的嘴,为耶和华所憎恶。行事诚实的,为他所喜悦。 The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful. | ||
23 | 通达人隐藏知识。愚昧人的心,彰显愚昧。 A prudent man keeps his knowledge to himself, but the heart of fools blurts out folly. | ||
24 | 殷勤人的手必掌权。懒惰的人必服苦。 Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor. | ||
25 | 人心忧虑,屈而不伸。一句良言,使心欢乐。 An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up. | ||
26 | 义人引导他的邻舍。恶人的道,叫人失迷。 A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray. | ||
27 | 懒惰的人,不烤打猎所得的。殷勤的人,却得宝贵的财物。 The lazy man does not roast his game, but the diligent man prizes his possessions. | ||
28 | 在公义的道上有生命。其路之中,并无死亡。 In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality. |
