1 | ±æ¸£¾Ñ¿¡ ¿ì°ÅÇÏ´Â ÀÚ Áß¿¡ µð¼Á »ç¶÷ ¿¤¸®¾ß°¡ ¾ÆÇÕ¿¡°Ô °íÇ쵂 ³ªÀÇ ¼¶±â´Â À̽º¶ó¿¤ Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ »ç½ÉÀ» °¡¸®ÄÑ ¸Í¼¼Çϳë´Ï ³» ¸»ÀÌ ¾øÀ¸¸é ¼ö ³â µ¿¾È ¿ì·Î°¡ ÀÖÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó Çϴ϶ó Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word." | ||

3 | ³Ê´Â ¿©±â¼ ¶°³ª µ¿À¸·Î °¡¼ ¿ä´Ü ¾Õ ±×¸´ ½Ã³Á°¡¿¡ ¼û°í "Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. | ||
4 | ±× ½Ã³Á¹°À» ¸¶½Ã¶ó ³»°¡ ±î¸¶±ÍµéÀ» ¸íÇÏ¿© °Å±â¼ ³Ê¸¦ ¸ÔÀÌ°Ô Çϸ®¶ó You will drink from the brook, and I have ordered the ravens to feed you there." | ||
5 | Àú°¡ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¸»¾¸°ú °°ÀÌ ÇÏ¿© °ð °¡¼ ¿ä´Ü ¾Õ ±×¸´ ½Ã³Á°¡¿¡ ¸Ó¹°¸Å So he did what the LORD had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. | ||
6 | ±î¸¶±ÍµéÀÌ ¾Æħ¿¡µµ ¶±°ú °í±â¸¦, Àú³á¿¡µµ ¶±°ú °í±â¸¦ °¡Á®¿Ô°í Àú°¡ ½Ã³»¸¦ ¸¶¼Ì´õ´Ï The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. | ||
7 | ¶¥¿¡ ºñ°¡ ³»¸®Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϹǷΠ¾ó¸¶ ÈÄ¿¡ ±× ½Ã³»°¡ ¸¶¸£´Ï¶ó Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. | ||

9 | ³Ê´Â ÀϾ ½Ãµ·¿¡ ¼ÓÇÑ »ç¸£¹åÀ¸·Î °¡¼ °Å±â À¯ÇÏ¶ó ³»°¡ ±×°÷ °úºÎ¿¡°Ô ¸íÇÏ¿© ³Ê¸¦ °ø±ËÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ¿´´À´Ï¶ó "Go at once to Zarephath of Sidon and stay there. I have commanded a widow in that place to supply you with food." | ||
10 | Àú°¡ ÀϾ »ç¸£¹åÀ¸·Î °¡¼ ¼º¹®¿¡ À̸¦ ¶§¿¡ ÇÑ °úºÎ°¡ ±×°÷¿¡¼ ³ª¹«°¡Áö¸¦ ÁÝ´ÂÁö¶ó ÀÌ¿¡ ºÒ·¯ °¡·ÎµÇ ûÄÁ´ë ±×¸©¿¡ ¹°À» Á¶±Ý °¡Á®´Ù°¡ ³ª·Î ¸¶½Ã°Ô Ç϶ó So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, "Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?" | ||
11 | Àú°¡ °¡Áö·¯ °¥ ¶§¿¡ ¿¤¸®¾ß°¡ Àú¸¦ ºÒ·¯ °¡·ÎµÇ ûÄÁ´ë ³× ¼Õ¿¡ ¶± ÇÑ Á¶°¢À» ³»°Ô·Î °¡Á®¿À¶ó As she was going to get it, he called, "And bring me, please, a piece of bread." | ||
12 | Àú°¡ °¡·ÎµÇ ´ç½ÅÀÇ Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ »ç½ÉÀ» °¡¸®ÄÑ ¸Í¼¼Çϳë´Ï ³ª´Â ¶±ÀÌ ¾ø°í ´Ù¸¸ Åë¿¡ °¡·ç ÇÑ ¿òÅ°ú º´¿¡ ±â¸§ Á¶±Ý»ÓÀÌ¶ó ³»°¡ ³ª¹«°¡Áö µÎ¾ùÀ» ÁÖ¿ö´Ù°¡ ³ª¿Í ³» ¾ÆµéÀ» À§ÇÏ¿© À½½ÄÀ» ¸¸µé¾î ¸Ô°í ±× ÈÄ¿¡´Â Á×À¸¸®¶ó "As surely as the LORD your God lives," she replied, "I don't have any bread--only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it--and die." | ||
13 | ¿¤¸®¾ß°¡ Àú¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ µÎ·Á¿ö ¸»°í °¡¼ ³× ¸»´ë·Î ÇÏ·Á´Ï¿Í ¸ÕÀú ±×°ÍÀ¸·Î ³ª¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ÀÛÀº ¶± Çϳª¸¦ ¸¸µé¾î ³»°Ô·Î °¡Á®¿À°í ±× ÈÄ¿¡ ³Ê¿Í ³× ¾ÆµéÀ» À§ÇÏ¿© ¸¸µé¶ó Elijah said to her, "Don't be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small cake of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. | ||
14 | À̽º¶ó¿¤ Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¸»¾¸ÀÌ ³ª ¿©È£¿Í°¡ ºñ¸¦ Áö¸é¿¡ ³»¸®´Â ³¯±îÁö ±× ÅëÀÇ °¡·ç´Â ´ÙÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í ±× º´ÀÇ ±â¸§Àº ¾ø¾îÁöÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó Çϼ̴À´Ï¶ó For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD gives rain on the land.'" | ||
15 | Àú°¡ °¡¼ ¿¤¸®¾ßÀÇ ¸»´ë·Î ÇÏ¿´´õ´Ï Àú¿Í ¿¤¸®¾ß¿Í ½Ä±¸°¡ ¿©·¯³¯ ¸Ô¾úÀ¸³ª She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. | ||
16 | ¿©È£¿Í²²¼ ¿¤¸®¾ß·Î ÇϽŠ¸»¾¸ °°ÀÌ ÅëÀÇ °¡·ç°¡ ´ÙÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í º´ÀÇ ±â¸§ÀÌ ¾ø¾îÁöÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϴ϶ó For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the LORD spoken by Elijah. | ||
17 | ÀÌ ÀÏ ÈÄ¿¡ ±× Áý ÁÖ¸ð µÇ´Â ¿©ÀÎÀÇ ¾ÆµéÀÌ º´µé¾î Áõ¼¼°¡ ½ÉÈ÷ À§ÁßÇÏ´Ù°¡ ¼ûÀÌ ²÷¾îÁøÁö¶ó Some time later the son of the woman who owned the house became ill. He grew worse and worse, and finally stopped breathing. | ||
18 | ¿©ÀÎÀÌ ¿¤¸®¾ß¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ »ç¶÷ÀÌ¿© ´ç½ÅÀÌ ³ª·Î ´õºÒ¾î ¹«½¼ »ó°üÀÌ ÀÖ±â·Î ³» Á˸¦ »ý°¢³ª°Ô ÇÏ°í ¶Ç ³» ¾ÆµéÀ» Á×°Ô ÇÏ·Á°í ³»°Ô ¿À¼Ì³ªÀ̱î She said to Elijah, "What do you have against me, man of God? Did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?" | ||
19 | ¿¤¸®¾ß°¡ Àú¿¡°Ô ±× ¾ÆµéÀ» ´Þ¶ó ÇÏ¿© ±×¸¦ ±× ¿©ÀÎÀÇ Ç°¿¡¼ ÃëÇÏ¿© ¾È°í ÀÚ±âÀÇ °ÅóÇÏ´Â ´Ù¶ô¿¡ ¿Ã¶ó°¡¼ ÀÚ±â ħ»ó¿¡ ´©ÀÌ°í "Give me your son," Elijah replied. He took him from her arms, carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his bed. | ||
20 | ¿©È£¿Í²² ºÎ¸£Â¢¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ³ªÀÇ Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿Í¿© ÁÖ²²¼ ¶Ç ³»°¡ ¿ì°ÅÇÏ´Â Áý °úºÎ¿¡°Ô Àç¾ÓÀ» ³»¸®»ç ±× ¾Æµé·Î Á×°Ô Çϼ̳ªÀ̱î ÇÏ°í Then he cried out to the LORD, "O LORD my God, have you brought tragedy also upon this widow I am staying with, by causing her son to die?" | ||
21 | ±× ¾ÆÀÌ À§¿¡ ¸öÀ» ¼¼ ¹ø Æì¼ ¾þµå¸®°í ¿©È£¿Í²² ºÎ¸£Â¢¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ³ªÀÇ Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿Í¿© ¿øÄÁ´ë ÀÌ ¾ÆÀÌÀÇ È¥À¸·Î ±× ¸ö¿¡ µ¹¾Æ¿À°Ô ÇϿɼҼ ÇÏ´Ï Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried to the LORD, "O LORD my God, let this boy's life return to him!" | ||
22 | ¿©È£¿Í²²¼ ¿¤¸®¾ßÀÇ ¼Ò¸®¸¦ µéÀ¸½Ã¹Ç·Î ±× ¾ÆÀÌÀÇ È¥ÀÌ ¸öÀ¸·Î µ¹¾Æ¿À°í »ì¾Æ³Áö¶ó The LORD heard Elijah's cry, and the boy's life returned to him, and he lived. | ||
23 | ¿¤¸®¾ß°¡ ±× ¾ÆÀ̸¦ ¾È°í ´Ù¶ô¿¡¼ ¹æÀ¸·Î ³»·Á°¡¼ ±× ¾î¹Ì¿¡°Ô ÁÖ¸ç À̸£µÇ º¸¶ó ³× ¾ÆµéÀÌ »ì¾Ò´À´Ï¶ó Elijah picked up the child and carried him down from the room into the house. He gave him to his mother and said, "Look, your son is alive!" | ||
24 | ¿©ÀÎÀÌ ¿¤¸®¾ß¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³»°¡ ÀÌÁ¦¾ß ´ç½ÅÀº Çϳª´ÔÀÇ »ç¶÷ÀÌ½Ã¿ä ´ç½ÅÀÇ ÀÔ¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¸»¾¸ÀÌ Áø½ÇÇÑÁÙ ¾Æ³ë¶ó Çϴ϶ó Then the woman said to Elijah, "Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the LORD from your mouth is the truth." |
