These are the family heads and those registered with them who came up with me from Babylon during the reign of King Artaxerxes:

of the descendants of Azgad, Johanan son of Hakkatan, and with him 110 men;

of the descendants of Adonikam, the last ones, whose names were Eliphelet, Jeuel and Shemaiah, and with them 60 men;

of the descendants of Bigvai, Uthai and Zaccur, and with them 70 men.

³»°¡ ¹«¸®¸¦ ¾ÆÇÏ¿Í·Î È帣´Â °­°¡¿¡ ¸ðÀ¸°í °Å±â¼­ »ï ÀÏ µ¿¾È À帷¿¡ À¯ÇÏ¸ç ¹é¼º°ú Á¦»çÀåµéÀ» »ìÇÉÁï ±× Áß¿¡ ·¹À§ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ Çϳªµµ ¾ø´ÂÁö¶ó

I assembled them at the canal that flows toward Ahava, and we camped there three days. When I checked among the people and the priests, I found no Levites there.

So I summoned Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah and Meshullam, who were leaders, and Joiarib and Elnathan, who were men of learning,

°¡½Ã¹ò Áö¹æÀ¸·Î º¸³»¾î ±×°÷ Á·Àå ÀÕµµ¿¡°Ô ³ª¾Æ°¡°Ô ÇÏ°í ÀÕµµ¿Í ±× ÇüÁ¦ °ð °¡½Ã¹ò Áö¹æ¿¡ °ÅÇÑ ´Àµð´Ô »ç¶÷µé¿¡°Ô ÇÒ ¸»À» ÀÏ·¯ÁÖ°í ¿ì¸® Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÀüÀ» À§ÇÏ¿© ¼öÁ¾µé ÀÚ¸¦ µ¥¸®°í ¿À¶ó ÇÏ¿´´õ´Ï

and I sent them to Iddo, the leader in Casiphia. I told them what to say to Iddo and his kinsmen, the temple servants in Casiphia, so that they might bring attendants to us for the house of our God.

¿ì¸® Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¼±ÇÑ ¼ÕÀÇ µµ¿ì½ÉÀ» ÀÔ°í ÀúÈñ°¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÇ ¼ÕÀÚ ·¹À§ÀÇ ¾Æµé ¸»¸®ÀÇ ÀÚ¼Õ Áß¿¡¼­ ÇÑ ¸íöÇÑ »ç¶÷À» µ¥·Á¿À°í ¶Ç ¼¼·¹¹ò¿Í ±× ¾Æµéµé°ú ÇüÁ¦ ½ÊÆÈ ¸í°ú

Because the gracious hand of our God was on us, they brought us Sherebiah, a capable man, from the descendants of Mahli son of Levi, the son of Israel, and Sherebiah's sons and brothers, 18 men;

and Hashabiah, together with Jeshaiah from the descendants of Merari, and his brothers and nephews, 20 men.

¶Ç ´Àµð´Ô »ç¶÷ °ð ´ÙÀ­°ú ¹æ¹éµéÀÌ ÁÖ¾î ·¹À§ »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô ¼öÁ¾µé°Ô ÇÑ ±× ´Àµð´Ô »ç¶÷ Áß À̹éÀÌ½Ê ¸íÀ» µ¥·Á¿ÔÀ¸´Ï ±× À̸§ÀÌ ´Ù ±â·ÏµÇ¾ú´À´Ï¶ó

They also brought 220 of the temple servants--a body that David and the officials had established to assist the Levites. All were registered by name.

¶§¿¡ ³»°¡ ¾ÆÇÏ¿Í °­ °¡¿¡¼­ ±Ý½ÄÀ» ¼±Æ÷ÇÏ°í ¿ì¸® Çϳª´Ô ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ½º½º·Î °âºñÇÏ¿© ¿ì¸®¿Í ¿ì¸® ¾î¸° °Í°ú ¸ðµç ¼ÒÀ¯¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ÆòźÇÑ ±æÀ» ±×¿¡°Ô °£±¸ÇÏ¿´À¸´Ï

There, by the Ahava Canal, I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions.

ÀÌ´Â ¿ì¸®°¡ Àü¿¡ ¿Õ¿¡°Ô °íÇϱ⸦ ¿ì¸® Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¼ÕÀº Àڱ⸦ ã´Â ¸ðµç ÀÚ¿¡°Ô ¼±À» º£Çª½Ã°í Àڱ⸦ ¹è¹ÝÇÏ´Â ¸ðµç ÀÚ¿¡°Ô´Â ±Ç´É°ú Áø³ë¸¦ º£Çª½Å´Ù ÇÏ¿´À¸¹Ç·Î ±æ¿¡¼­ Àû±ºÀ» ¸·°í ¿ì¸®¸¦ µµ¿ï º¸º´°ú ¸¶º´À» ¿Õ¿¡°Ô ±¸Çϱ⸦ ºÎ²ô·¯¿ö ÇÏ¿´À½À̶ó

I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies on the road, because we had told the king, "The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him."

±×·¯¹Ç·Î ¿ì¸®°¡ À̸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ±Ý½ÄÇÏ¸ç ¿ì¸® Çϳª´Ô²² °£±¸ÇÏ¿´´õ´Ï ±× ÀÀ³«ÇϽÉÀ» ÀÔ¾ú´À´Ï¶ó

So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.

±× ¶§¿¡ ³»°¡ Á¦»çÀåÀÇ µÎ¸ñ Áß ½ÊÀÌ ÀÎ °ð ¼¼·¹¹ò¿Í ÇÏ»ç¹ò¿Í ±× ÇüÁ¦ ½Ê ÀÎÀ» µû·Î ¼¼¿ì°í

Then I set apart twelve of the leading priests, together with Sherebiah, Hashabiah and ten of their brothers,

ÀúÈñ¿¡°Ô ¿Õ°ú ¸ð»çµé°ú ¹æ¹éµé°ú ¶Ç ±×°÷¿¡ ÀÖ´Â À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¹«¸®°¡ ¿ì¸® Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÀüÀ» À§ÇÏ¿© µå¸° Àº°ú ±Ý°ú ±â¸íµéÀ» ´Þ¾Æ¼­ ÁÖ¾úÀ¸´Ï

and I weighed out to them the offering of silver and gold and the articles that the king, his advisers, his officials and all Israel present there had donated for the house of our God.

³»°¡ ´Þ¾Æ¼­ ÀúÈñ ¼Õ¿¡ ÁØ °ÍÀº ÀºÀÌ À°¹é¿À½Ê ´Þ¶õÆ®¿ä Àº ±â¸íÀÌ ÀÏ¹é ´Þ¶õÆ®¿ä ±ÝÀÌ ÀÏ¹é ´Þ¶õÆ®¸ç

I weighed out to them 650 talents of silver, silver articles weighing 100 talents, 100 talents of gold,

¶Ç ±ÝÀÜÀÌ ÀÌ½Ê °³¶ó Áß¼ö´Â ÀÏõ ´Ù¸¯ÀÌ¿ä ¶Ç ¾Æ¸§´ä°í ºû³ª ±Ý °°ÀÌ º¸¹è·Î¿î ³ò±×¸©ÀÌ µÎ °³¶ó

20 bowls of gold valued at 1,000 darics, and two fine articles of polished bronze, as precious as gold.

³»°¡ ÀúÈñ¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³ÊÈñ´Â ¿©È£¿Í²² °Å·èÇÑ ÀÚ¿ä ÀÌ ±â¸íµéµµ °Å·èÇÏ°í ±× Àº°ú ±ÝÀº ³ÊÈñ ¿­Á¶ÀÇ Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿Í²² Áñ°ÅÀÌ µå¸° ¿¹¹°ÀÌ´Ï

I said to them, "You as well as these articles are consecrated to the LORD. The silver and gold are a freewill offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.

³ÊÈñ´Â ¿¹·ç»ì·½ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ Àü °ñ¹æ¿¡ À̸£·¯ Á¦»çÀåÀÇ µÎ¸ñµé°ú ·¹À§ »ç¶÷ÀÇ µÎ¸ñµé°ú À̽º¶ó¿¤ Á·Àå ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ÀÌ ±â¸íÀ» ´Þ±â±îÁö »ï°¡ ÁöÅ°¶ó

Guard them carefully until you weigh them out in the chambers of the house of the LORD in Jerusalem before the leading priests and the Levites and the family heads of Israel."

Then the priests and Levites received the silver and gold and sacred articles that had been weighed out to be taken to the house of our God in Jerusalem.

Á¤¿ù ½ÊÀÌÀÏ¿¡ ¿ì¸®°¡ ¾ÆÇÏ¿Í °­À» ¶°³ª ¿¹·ç»ì·½À¸·Î °¥»õ ¿ì¸® Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¼ÕÀÌ ¿ì¸®¸¦ µµ¿ì»ç ´ëÀû°ú ±æ¿¡ ¸Åº¹ÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡¼­ °ÇÁö½ÅÁö¶ó

On the twelfth day of the first month we set out from the Ahava Canal to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God was on us, and he protected us from enemies and bandits along the way.

So we arrived in Jerusalem, where we rested three days.

On the fourth day, in the house of our God, we weighed out the silver and gold and the sacred articles into the hands of Meremoth son of Uriah, the priest. Eleazar son of Phinehas was with him, and so were the Levites Jozabad son of Jeshua and Noadiah son of Binnui.

Everything was accounted for by number and weight, and the entire weight was recorded at that time.

»ç·ÎÀâÇû´ø ÀÚÀÇ ÀÚ¼Õ °ð À̹濡¼­ µ¹¾Æ¿Â ÀÚµéÀÌ À̽º¶ó¿¤ Çϳª´Ô²² ¹øÁ¦¸¦ µå·È´Âµ¥ À̽º¶ó¿¤ Àüü¸¦ À§ÇÑ ¼ö¼Û¾ÆÁö°¡ ¿­µÑÀÌ¿ä ¶Ç ¼ö¾çÀÌ ¾ÆÈç¿©¼¸ÀÌ¿ä ¾î¸° ¾çÀÌ ÀÏÈçÀÏ°öÀÌ¿ä ¶Ç ¼ÓÁËÁ¦ÀÇ ¼ö¿°¼Ò°¡ ¿­µÑÀÌ´Ï ¸ðµÎ ¿©È£¿Í²² µå¸° ¹øÁ¦¹°À̶ó

Then the exiles who had returned from captivity sacrificed burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven male lambs and, as a sin offering, twelve male goats. All this was a burnt offering to the LORD.

They also delivered the king's orders to the royal satraps and to the governors of Trans-Euphrates, who then gave assistance to the people and to the house of God.
