2 | ¿éÀÌ ¸»À» ³»¾î °¡·ÎµÇ He said: | ||
3 | ³ªÀÇ ³ ³¯ÀÌ ¸ê¸ÁÇÏ¿´¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, ³²¾Æ¸¦ ¹è¾ú´Ù ÇÏ´ø ±× ¹ãµµ ±×·¯ÇÏ¿´¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, "May the day of my birth perish, and the night it was said, 'A boy is born!' | ||
4 | ±× ³¯ÀÌ Ä¯Ä¯ÇÏ¿´¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, Çϳª´ÔÀÌ À§¿¡¼ µ¹¾Æº¸Áö ¸¶¼Ì´õ¶ó¸é, ºûµµ ±× ³¯À» ºñÃëÁö ¸»¾Ò¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, That day--may it turn to darkness; may God above not care about it; may no light shine upon it. | ||
5 | À¯¾Ï°ú »ç¸ÁÀÇ ±×´ÃÀÌ ±× ³¯À» Àڱ⠰ÍÀ̶ó ÁÖÀåÇÏ¿´¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, ±¸¸§ÀÌ ±× À§¿¡ µ¤¿´¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, ³·À» įįÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ ±× ³¯À» µÎ·Æ°Ô ÇÏ¿´¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, May darkness and deep shadow claim it once more; may a cloud settle over it; may blackness overwhelm its light. | ||
6 | ±× ¹ãÀÌ ½ÉÇÑ ¾îµÎ¿ò¿¡ ÀâÇû¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, ÇØÀÇ ³¯ ¼ö °¡¿îµ¥ ±â»ÝÀÌ µÇÁö ¸»¾Ò¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, ´ÞÀÇ ¼ö¿¡ µéÁö ¸»¾Ò¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, That night--may thick darkness seize it; may it not be included among the days of the year nor be entered in any of the months. | ||
7 | ±× ¹ãÀÌ Àû¸·ÇÏ¿´¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, ±× °¡¿îµ¥¼ Áñ°Å¿î ¼Ò¸®°¡ ÀϾÁö ¸»¾Ò¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, May that night be barren; may no shout of joy be heard in it. | ||
8 | ³¯À» ÀúÁÖÇÏ´Â ÀÚ °ð Å« ¾Ç¾î¸¦ °Ýµ¿½ÃÅ°±â¿¡ Àͼ÷ÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ ±× ¹ãÀ» ÀúÁÖÇÏ¿´¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, May those who curse days curse that day, those who are ready to rouse Leviathan. | ||
9 | ±× ¹ã¿¡ »õº®º°µéÀÌ ¾îµÎ¿ü¾ú´õ¶ó¸é, ±× ¹ãÀÌ ±¤¸íÀ» ¹Ù¶öÁö¶óµµ ¾òÁö ¸øÇÏ¸ç µ¿Æ´À» º¸Áö ¸øÇÏ¿´¾ú´õ¶ó¸é ÁÁ¾ÒÀ» °ÍÀ», May its morning stars become dark; may it wait for daylight in vain and not see the first rays of dawn, | ||
10 | ÀÌ´Â ³» ¸ðÅÂÀÇ ¹®À» ´ÝÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´°í ³» ´«À¸·Î ȯ³À» º¸Áö ¾Êµµ·Ï ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´À½À̷α¸³ª for it did not shut the doors of the womb on me to hide trouble from my eyes. | ||
11 | ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ³»°¡ Å¿¡¼ Á×¾î ³ª¿ÀÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´¾ú´ø°¡ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ³» ¾î¹Ì°¡ ³ºÀ» ¶§¿¡ ³»°¡ ¼ûÁöÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´ø°¡ "Why did I not perish at birth, and die as I came from the womb? | ||
12 | ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ¹«¸ÀÌ ³ª¸¦ ¹Þ¾Ò´ø°¡ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© À¯¹æÀÌ ³ª·Î »¡°Ô ÇÏ¿´´ø°¡ Why were there knees to receive me and breasts that I might be nursed? | ||
13 | ±×·¸Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´øµé ÀÌÁ¦´Â ³»°¡ Æò¾ÈÈ÷ ´©¿ö¼ ÀÚ°í ½¬¾úÀ» °ÍÀÌ´Ï For now I would be lying down in peace; I would be asleep and at rest | ||
14 | Àڱ⸦ À§ÇÏ¿© °ÅÄ£ Å͸¦ ¼öÃàÇÑ ¼¼»ó Àӱݵé°ú ÀÇ»çµé°ú ÇÔ²² ÀÖ¾úÀ» °ÍÀÌ¿ä with kings and counselors of the earth, who built for themselves places now lying in ruins, | ||
15 | Ȥ½Ã ±ÝÀ» °¡Áö¸ç ÀºÀ¸·Î Áý¿¡ ä¿î ¸ñ¹éµé°ú ÇÔ²² ÀÖ¾úÀ» °ÍÀ̸ç with rulers who had gold, who filled their houses with silver. | ||
16 | ¶Ç ºÎÁö Áß¿¡ ³«ÅÂÇÑ ¾ÆÀÌ °°¾Æ¼ ¼¼»ó¿¡ ÀÖÁö ¾Ê¾Ò°Ú°í ºûÀ» º¸Áö ¸øÇÑ ¾ÆÀÌµé °°¾Ò¾úÀ» °ÍÀ̶ó Or why was I not hidden in the ground like a stillborn child, like an infant who never saw the light of day? | ||
17 | °Å±â¼´Â ¾ÇÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ ¼Ò¿ä¸¦ ±×Ä¡¸ç °Å±â¼´Â °ïºñÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ Æò°À» ¾òÀ¸¸ç There the wicked cease from turmoil, and there the weary are at rest. | ||
18 | °Å±â¼´Â °¤Èù ÀÚ°¡ ´Ù ÇÔ²² Æò¾ÈÈ÷ ÀÖ¾î °¨µ¶ÀÚÀÇ ¼Ò¸®¸¦ µèÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸç Captives also enjoy their ease; they no longer hear the slave driver's shout. | ||
19 | °Å±â¼´Â ÀÛÀº ÀÚ³ª Å« ÀÚ³ª ÀϹÝÀ¸·Î ÀÖ°í Á¾ÀÌ »óÀü¿¡°Ô¼ ³õÀÌ´À´Ï¶ó The small and the great are there, and the slave is freed from his master. | ||
20 | ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© °ï°íÇÑ ÀÚ¿¡°Ô ºûÀ» ÁÖ¼ÌÀ¸¸ç ¸¶À½ÀÌ ¹ø³úÇÑ ÀÚ¿¡°Ô »ý¸íÀ» Á̴ּ°í "Why is light given to those in misery, and life to the bitter of soul, | ||
21 | ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ÀÚ´Â Áױ⸦ ¹Ù¶óµµ ¿ÀÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Ï ±×°ÍÀ» ±¸Çϱ⸦ ¶¥À» ÆÄ°í ¼û±ä º¸¹è¸¦ ãÀ½º¸´Ù ´õÇÏ´Ù°¡ to those who long for death that does not come, who search for it more than for hidden treasure, | ||
22 | ¹«´ýÀ» ã¾Æ ¾òÀ¸¸é ½ÉÈ÷ ±â»µÇÏ°í Áñ°Å¿öÇϳª´Ï who are filled with gladness and rejoice when they reach the grave? | ||
23 | Çϳª´Ô¿¡°Ô µÑ·¯½Î¿© ±æÀÌ ¾ÆµæÇÑ »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ºûÀ» Á̴ּ°í Why is life given to a man whose way is hidden, whom God has hedged in? | ||
24 | ³ª´Â ¸Ô±â Àü¿¡ ź½ÄÀÌ ³ª¸ç ³ªÀÇ ¾Î´Â ¼Ò¸®´Â ¹°ÀÌ ½ñ¾ÆÁö´Â °Í °°±¸³ª For sighing comes to me instead of food; my groans pour out like water. | ||
25 | ³ªÀÇ µÎ·Á¿öÇÏ´Â ±×°ÍÀÌ ³»°Ô ÀÓÇÏ°í ³ªÀÇ ¹«¼¿öÇÏ´Â ±×°ÍÀÌ ³» ¸ö¿¡ ¹ÌÃƱ¸³ª What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. | ||
26 | Æò°µµ ¾ø°í ¾È¿Âµµ ¾ø°í ¾È½Äµµ ¾ø°í °í³¸¸ ÀÓÇÏ¿´±¸³ª I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil." |
