3 | ³Ê´Â ´ëÀåºÎó·³ Ç㸮¸¦ ¹°í ³»°¡ ³×°Ô ¹¯´Â °ÍÀ» ´ë´äÇÒÁö´Ï¶ó Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. | ||
4 | ³»°¡ ¶¥ÀÇ ±âÃʸ¦ ³õÀ» ¶§¿¡ ³×°¡ ¾îµð ÀÖ¾ú´À³Ä ³×°¡ ±ú´Þ¾Æ ¾Ë¾Ò°Åµç ¸»ÇÒÁö´Ï¶ó "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand. | ||
5 | ´©°¡ ±× µµ·®À» Á¤ÇÏ¿´¾ú´ÂÁö ´©°¡ ±× ÁؽÂÀ» ±× À§¿¡ ¶ç¿ü¾ú´ÂÁö ³×°¡ ¾Æ´À³Ä Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? | ||
6 | ±× ÁÖÃÊ´Â ¹«¾ù À§¿¡ ¼¼¿üÀ¸¸ç ±× ¸ðÅüÀÌ µ¹Àº ´©°¡ ³õ¾Ò¾ú´À³Ä On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone-- | ||
7 | ±× ¶§¿¡ »õº® º°µéÀÌ ÇÔ²² ³ë·¡Çϸç Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¾ÆµéµéÀÌ ´Ù ±â»Ú°Ô ¼Ò¸®ÇÏ¿´¾ú´À´Ï¶ó while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? | ||
8 | ¹Ù´å¹°ÀÌ Å¿¡¼ ³ª¿È °°ÀÌ ³ÑÃÄ È带 ¶§¿¡ ¹®À¸·Î ±×°ÍÀ» ¸·Àº ÀÚ°¡ ´©±¸³Ä "Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, | ||

10 | °èÇÑÀ» Á¤ÇÏ¿© ¹®°ú ºøÀåÀ» º£Ç®°í when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, | ||
11 | À̸£±â¸¦ ³×°¡ ¿©±â±îÁö ¿À°í ³Ñ¾î°¡Áö ¸øÇϸ®´Ï ³× ±³¸¸ÇÑ ¹°°áÀÌ ¿©±â ±×Ä¥Áö´Ï¶ó ÇÏ¿´¾ú³ë¶ó when I said, 'This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt'? | ||
12 | ³×°¡ ³ª´ø ³¯ºÎÅÍ ¾ÆħÀ» ¸íÇÏ¿´¾ú´À³Ä »õº®À¸·Î ±× ó¼Ò¸¦ ¾Ë°Ô ÇÏ¿© "Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place, | ||
13 | ±×°ÍÀ¸·Î ¶¥³¡¿¡ ºñÃë°Ô ÇÏ°í ¾ÇÀÎÀ» ±× °¡¿îµ¥¼ ±¸ÃàÇÑ ÀÏÀÌ ÀÖ¾ú´À³Ä that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it? | ||
14 | ¶¥ÀÌ º¯ÈÇÏ¿© ÁøÈë¿¡ ÀÎÄ£ °Í °°°í ¸¸¹°ÀÌ ¿Ê °°ÀÌ ³ªÅ¸³ªµÇ The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its features stand out like those of a garment. | ||
15 | ¾ÇÀο¡°Ô´Â ±× ºûÀÌ ±ÝÇѹ٠µÇ°í ±×µéÀÇ ³ôÀÌ µç ÆÈÀÌ ²ªÀÌ´À´Ï¶ó The wicked are denied their light, and their upraised arm is broken. | ||
16 | ³×°¡ ¹Ù´Ù ±Ù¿ø¿¡ µé¾î°¬¾ú´À³Ä ±íÀº ¹°¹ØÀ¸·Î °É¾î ´Ù³æ¾ú´À³Ä "Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep? | ||
17 | »ç¸ÁÀÇ ¹®ÀÌ ³×°Ô ³ªÅ¸³µ¾ú´À³Ä »ç¸ÁÀÇ ±×´ÃÁø ¹®À» ³×°¡ º¸¾Ò¾ú´À³Ä Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death? | ||
18 | ¶¥ÀÇ ³ÐÀ̸¦ ³×°¡ Ãø·®ÇÏ¿´¾ú´À³Ä ´Ù ¾Ë°Åµç ¸»ÇÒÁö´Ï¶ó Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this. | ||
19 | ±¤¸íÀÇ Ã³¼Ò´Â ¾î´À ±æ·Î °¡¸ç Èæ¾ÏÀÇ Ã³¼Ò´Â ¾îµð³Ä "What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside? | ||
20 | ³×°¡ ´ÉÈ÷ ±× Áö°æÀ¸·Î ÀεµÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´À³Ä ±× ÁýÀÇ ±æÀ» ¾Æ´À³Ä Can you take them to their places? Do you know the paths to their dwellings? | ||
21 | ³×°¡ ¾Æ¸¶ ¾Ë¸®¶ó ³×°¡ ±× ¶§¿¡ ³µ¾ú³ª´Ï ³ÊÀÇ ¿¬¼ö°¡ ¸¹À½À̴϶ó Surely you know, for you were already born! You have lived so many years! | ||
22 | ³×°¡ ´« °÷°£¿¡ µé¾î°¬¾ú´À³Ä ¿ì¹Ú â°í¸¦ º¸¾Ò´À³Ä "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of the hail, | ||
23 | ³»°¡ ȯ³ ¶§¿Í ÀüÀï°ú °ÝÅõÀÇ ³¯À» À§ÇÏ¿© ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ÀúÃàÇÏ¿´³ë¶ó which I reserve for times of trouble, for days of war and battle? | ||

26 | »ç¶÷ ¾ø´Â ¶¥¿¡, »ç¶÷ ¾ø´Â ±¤¾ß¿¡ ºñ¸¦ ³»¸®°í to water a land where no man lives, a desert with no one in it, | ||
27 | Ȳ¹«ÇÏ°í °øÇãÇÑ ÅäÁö¸¦ ÃàÃàÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ°í ¿¬ÇÑ Ç®ÀÌ ³ª°Ô ÇÏ¿´´À³Ä to satisfy a desolate wasteland and make it sprout with grass? | ||
28 | ºñ°¡ ¾Æºñ°¡ ÀÖ´À³Ä À̽½ ¹æ¿ïÀº ´©°¡ ³º¾Ò´À³Ä Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew? | ||
29 | ¾óÀ½Àº ´µ Å¿¡¼ ³µ´À³Ä °øÁßÀÇ ¼¸®´Â ´©°¡ ³º¾Ò´À³Ä From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens | ||
30 | ¹°ÀÌ µ¹ °°ÀÌ ±»¾îÁö°í ÇظéÀÌ ¾î´À´Ï¶ó when the waters become hard as stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen? | ||
31 | ³×°¡ ¹¦¼ºÀ» ¸Å¾î ¶³±â µÇ°Ô ÇÏ°Ú´À³Ä »ï¼ºÀÇ ¶ì¸¦ Ç®°Ú´À³Ä "Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orion? | ||
32 | ³×°¡ ¿µÎ ±Ã¼ºÀ» ¶§¸¦ µû¶ó À̲ø¾î ³»°Ú´À³Ä ºÏµÎ¼º°ú ±× ¼ÓÇÑ º°µéÀ» ÀεµÇÏ°Ú´À³Ä Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear with its cubs? | ||

36 | °¡½¿ ¼ÓÀÇ ÁöÇý´Â ´©°¡ ÁØ °ÍÀÌ³Ä ¸¶À½ ¼ÓÀÇ ÃѸíÀº ´©°¡ ÁØ °ÍÀÌ³Ä Who endowed the heart with wisdom or gave understanding to the mind? | ||
