5 | µé ³ª±Í°¡ Ç®ÀÌ ÀÖÀ¸¸é ¾îÂî ¿ï°ÚÀ¸¸ç ¼Ò°¡ ²ÃÀÌ ÀÖÀ¸¸é ¾îÂî ¿ï°Ú´À³Ä Does a wild donkey bray when it has grass, or an ox bellow when it has fodder? | ||
6 | ½Ì°Å¿î °ÍÀÌ ¼Ò±Ý ¾øÀÌ ¸ÔÈ÷°Ú´À³Ä ´ßÀÇ ¾Ë ÈòÀÚÀ§°¡ ¸ÀÀÌ ÀÖ°Ú´À³Ä Is tasteless food eaten without salt, or is there flavor in the white of an egg? | ||
7 | ÀÌ·± °ÍÀ» ¸¸Áö±âµµ ³» ¸¶À½ÀÌ ½È¾îÇϳª´Ï ¸øµÈ ½Ä¹° °°ÀÌ ¿©±èÀ̴϶ó I refuse to touch it; such food makes me ill. | ||

10 | ±×·¯ÇÒÁö¶óµµ ³»°¡ ¿ÀÈ÷·Á À§·Î¸¦ ¹Þ°í ¹«Á¤ÇÑ °íÅë °¡¿îµ¥¼µµ ±â»µÇÒ °ÍÀº ³»°¡ °Å·èÇϽŠÀÌÀÇ ¸»¾¸À» °Å¿ªÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´À½À̴϶ó Then I would still have this consolation--my joy in unrelenting pain--that I had not denied the words of the Holy One. | ||

13 | ³ªÀÇ µµ¿òÀÌ ³» ¼Ó¿¡ ¾øÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ³Ä ³ªÀÇ ÁöÇý°¡ ³»°Ô¼ ÂѰܳªÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´À³Ä Do I have any power to help myself, now that success has been driven from me? | ||
14 | ÇÇ°ïÇÑ ÀÚ °ð Àü´ÉÀÚ °æ¿ÜÇÏ´Â ÀÏÀ» ÆóÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ±× ¹þÀÌ ºÒ½ÖÈ÷ ¿©±æ °ÍÀ̾î´Ã "A despairing man should have the devotion of his friends, even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. | ||

19 | µ¥¸¶ÀÇ ¶¼µéÀÌ ±×°ÍÀ» ¹Ù¶óº¸°í ½º¹ÙÀÇ ÇàÀε鵵 ±×°ÍÀ» »ç¸ðÇÏ´Ù°¡ The caravans of Tema look for water, the traveling merchants of Sheba look in hope. | ||
20 | °Å±â ¿Í¼´Â ¹Ù¶ó´ø °ÍÀ» ºÎ²ô¸®°í ³«½ÉÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó They are distressed, because they had been confident; they arrive there, only to be disappointed. | ||
21 | ³ÊÈñµµ Çã¸ÁÇÑ ÀÚ¶ó ³ÊÈñ°¡ µÎ·Á¿î ÀÏÀ» º»Áï °Ì³»´Â±¸³ª Now you too have proved to be of no help; you see something dreadful and are afraid. | ||
