耶和åŽåœ¨æ‘©æŠ¼å¹³åŽŸçº¦æ—¦æ²³è¾¹ï¼Œè€¶åˆ©å“¥å¯¹é¢æ™“谕摩西说,

On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, the LORD said to Moses,

ä½ å©å’以色列人,è¦ä»Žæ‰€å¾—为业的地中把些城给利未人居ä½ï¼Œä¹Ÿè¦æŠŠè¿™åŸŽå››å›´çš„郊野给利未人。

"Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in from the inheritance the Israelites will possess. And give them pasturelands around the towns.

这城邑è¦å½’他们居ä½ï¼ŒåŸŽé‚‘的郊野å¯ä»¥ç‰§å…»ä»–们的牛羊和å„样的牲畜,åˆå¯ä»¥å®‰ç½®ä»–们的财物。

Then they will have towns to live in and pasturelands for their cattle, flocks and all their other livestock.

"The pasturelands around the towns that you give the Levites will extend out fifteen hundred feet from the town wall.

å¦å¤–东é‡äºŒåƒè‚˜ï¼Œå—é‡äºŒåƒè‚˜ï¼Œè¥¿é‡äºŒåƒè‚˜ï¼ŒåŒ—é‡äºŒåƒè‚˜ï¼Œä¸ºè¾¹ç•Œï¼ŒåŸŽåœ¨å½“中。这è¦å½’他们作城邑的郊野。

Outside the town, measure three thousand feet on the east side, three thousand on the south side, three thousand on the west and three thousand on the north, with the town in the center. They will have this area as pastureland for the towns.

你们给利未人的城邑,其中当有六座逃城,使误æ€äººçš„å¯ä»¥é€ƒåˆ°é‚£é‡Œã€‚此外还è¦ç»™ä»–们四å二座城。

"Six of the towns you give the Levites will be cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone may flee. In addition, give them forty-two other towns.

你们è¦ç»™åˆ©æœªäººçš„城,共有四å八座,连城带郊野都è¦ç»™ä»–们。

In all you must give the Levites forty-eight towns, together with their pasturelands.

The towns you give the Levites from the land the Israelites possess are to be given in proportion to the inheritance of each tribe: Take many towns from a tribe that has many, but few from one that has few."

select some towns to be your cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone accidentally may flee.

They will be places of refuge from the avenger, so that a person accused of murder may not die before he stands trial before the assembly.

These six towns you give will be your cities of refuge.

在约旦河东è¦åˆ†å‡ºä¸‰åº§åŸŽï¼Œåœ¨è¿¦å—地也è¦åˆ†å‡ºä¸‰åº§åŸŽï¼Œéƒ½ä½œé€ƒåŸŽã€‚

Give three on this side of the Jordan and three in Canaan as cities of refuge.

These six towns will be a place of refuge for Israelites, aliens and any other people living among them, so that anyone who has killed another accidentally can flee there.

"'If a man strikes someone with an iron object so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.

若用å¯ä»¥æ‰“死人的石头打死了人,他就是故æ€äººçš„。故æ€äººçš„必被治死。

Or if anyone has a stone in his hand that could kill, and he strikes someone so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.

若用å¯ä»¥æ‰“死人的木器打死了人,他就是故æ€äººçš„。故æ€äººçš„必被治死。

Or if anyone has a wooden object in his hand that could kill, and he hits someone so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.

报血仇的必亲自æ€é‚£æ•…æ€äººçš„,一é‡è§å°±æ€ä»–。

The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death; when he meets him, he shall put him to death.

人若因怨æ¨æŠŠäººæŽ¨å€’,或是埋ä¼å¾€äººèº«ä¸Šæ‰”物,以致于死,

If anyone with malice aforethought shoves another or throws something at him intentionally so that he dies

或是因仇æ¨ç”¨æ‰‹æ‰“人,以致于死,那打人的必被治死。他是故æ€äººçš„。报血仇的一é‡è§å°±æ€ä»–。

or if in hostility he hits him with his fist so that he dies, that person shall be put to death; he is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.

倘若人没有仇æ¨ï¼Œå¿½ç„¶å°†äººæŽ¨å€’,或是没有埋ä¼æŠŠç‰©æ‰”在人身上,

"'But if without hostility someone suddenly shoves another or throws something at him unintentionally

或是没有看è§çš„时候用å¯ä»¥æ‰“死人的石头扔在人身上,以致于死,本æ¥ä¸Žä»–无仇,也无æ„害他。

or, without seeing him, drops a stone on him that could kill him, and he dies, then since he was not his enemy and he did not intend to harm him,

会众就è¦ç…§å…¸ç« ï¼Œåœ¨æ‰“死人的和报血仇的中间审判。

the assembly must judge between him and the avenger of blood according to these regulations.

会众è¦æ•‘这误æ€äººçš„脱离报血仇人的手,也è¦ä½¿ä»–归入逃城。他è¦ä½åœ¨å…¶ä¸­ï¼Œç›´ç­‰åˆ°å—圣è†çš„大祭å¸æ­»äº†ã€‚

The assembly must protect the one accused of murder from the avenger of blood and send him back to the city of refuge to which he fled. He must stay there until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.

"'But if the accused ever goes outside the limits of the city of refuge to which he has fled

and the avenger of blood finds him outside the city, the avenger of blood may kill the accused without being guilty of murder.

因为误æ€äººçš„该ä½åœ¨é€ƒåŸŽé‡Œï¼Œç­‰åˆ°å¤§ç¥­å¸æ­»äº†ã€‚大祭å¸æ­»äº†ä»¥åŽï¼Œè¯¯æ€äººçš„æ‰å¯ä»¥å›žåˆ°ä»–所得为业之地。

The accused must stay in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest; only after the death of the high priest may he return to his own property.

"'These are to be legal requirements for you throughout the generations to come, wherever you live.

"'Anyone who kills a person is to be put to death as a murderer only on the testimony of witnesses. But no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.

æ•…æ€äººï¼ŒçŠ¯æ­»ç½ªçš„,你们ä¸å¯æ”¶èµŽä»·ä»£æ›¿ä»–的命。他必被治死。

"'Do not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer, who deserves to die. He must surely be put to death.

那逃到逃城的人,你们ä¸å¯ä¸ºä»–收赎价,使他在大祭å¸æœªæ­»ä»¥å…ˆå†æ¥ä½åœ¨æœ¬åœ°ã€‚

"'Do not accept a ransom for anyone who has fled to a city of refuge and so allow him to go back and live on his own land before the death of the high priest.

"'Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.

你们ä¸å¯çŽ·æ±¡æ‰€ä½ä¹‹åœ°ï¼Œå°±æ˜¯æˆ‘ä½åœ¨å…¶ä¸­ä¹‹åœ°ï¼Œå› ä¸ºæˆ‘耶和åŽä½åœ¨ä»¥è‰²åˆ—人中间。

Do not defile the land where you live and where I dwell, for I, the LORD, dwell among the Israelites.'"
