| | 1 | 耶和華的話又臨到我說、
The word of the LORD came to me:

| | 2 | 人子阿、你要發豫言說、主耶和華如此說、哀哉這日、你們應當哭號。
"Son of man, prophesy and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'Wail and say, "Alas for that day!"

| | 3 | 因為耶和華的日子臨近、就是密雲之日、列國受罰之期。
For the day is near, the day of the LORD is near--a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations.

| | 4 | 必有刀劍臨到埃及、在埃及被殺之人仆倒的時候、古實人就有痛苦、人民必被擄掠、基址必被拆毀．
A sword will come against Egypt, and anguish will come upon Cush. When the slain fall in Egypt, her wealth will be carried away and her foundations torn down.

| | 5 | 古實人、弗人、〔或作呂彼亞人〕、路德人、雜族的人民、並古巴人、以及同盟之地的人、都要與埃及人一同倒在刀下。
Cush and Put, Lydia and all Arabia, Libya and the people of the covenant land will fall by the sword along with Egypt.

| | 6 | 耶和華如此說、扶助埃及的、也必傾倒．埃及因勢力而有的驕傲、必降低微．其中的人民從色弗尼塔起、〔見二十九章十節〕必倒在刀下．這是主耶和華說的。
"'This is what the LORD says: "'The allies of Egypt will fall and her proud strength will fail. From Migdol to Aswan they will fall by the sword within her, declares the Sovereign LORD.

| | 7 | 埃及地在荒涼的國中、必成為荒涼．埃及城在荒廢的城中、也變為荒廢。
"'They will be desolate among desolate lands, and their cities will lie among ruined cities.

| | 8 | 我在埃及中使火畄起、幫助埃及的、都被滅絕．那時、他們就知道我是耶和華。
Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I set fire to Egypt and all her helpers are crushed.

| | 9 | 到那日必有使者坐船、從我面前出去、使安逸無慮的古實人驚懼．必有痛苦臨到他們、好像埃及遭災的日子一樣．看哪、這事臨近了。
"'On that day messengers will go out from me in ships to frighten Cush out of her complacency. Anguish will take hold of them on the day of Egypt's doom, for it is sure to come.

| | 10 | 主耶和華如此說、我必藉巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手、除滅埃及眾人。
"'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

| | 11 | 他和隨從他的人、就是列國中強暴的、必進來毀滅這地．他們必拔刀攻擊埃及、使遍地有被殺的人。
He and his army--the most ruthless of nations--will be brought in to destroy the land. They will draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain.

| | 12 | 我必使江河乾涸、將地賣在惡人的手中．我必藉外邦人的手、使這地和其中所有的、變為淒涼．這是我耶和華說的。
I will dry up the streams of the Nile and sell the land to evil men; by the hand of foreigners I will lay waste the land and everything in it. I the LORD have spoken.

| | 13 | 主耶和華如此說、我必毀滅偶像、從挪弗除滅神像．必不再有君王出自埃及地．我要使埃及地的人懼怕。
"'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'I will destroy the idols and put an end to the images in Memphis. No longer will there be a prince in Egypt, and I will spread fear throughout the land.

| | 14 | 我必使巴忒羅荒涼、在瑣安中使火畄起、向挪施行審判。
I will lay waste Upper Egypt, set fire to Zoan and inflict punishment on Thebes.
| |
| | 15 | 我必將我的忿怒倒在埃及的保障上、就是訓上．並要剪除挪的眾人。
I will pour out my wrath on Pelusium, the stronghold of Egypt, and cut off the hordes of Thebes.

| | 16 | 我必在埃及中使火畄起、訓必大大痛苦．挪必被攻破．挪弗白日見仇敵。〔白日或作終日〕
I will set fire to Egypt; Pelusium will writhe in agony. Thebes will be taken by storm; Memphis will be in constant distress.
| |
| | 17 | 亞文和比伯實的少年人、必倒在刀下．這些城的人、必被擄掠。
The young men of Heliopolis and Bubastis will fall by the sword, and the cities themselves will go into captivity.
| |
| | 18 | 我在答比匿折斷埃及的諸軛、使他因勢力而有的驕傲、在其中止息、那時、日光必退去．至於這城、必有密雲遮蔽、其中的女子、必被擄掠。
Dark will be the day at Tahpanhes when I break the yoke of Egypt; there her proud strength will come to an end. She will be covered with clouds, and her villages will go into captivity.

| | 19 | 我必這樣向埃及施行審判．他們就知道我是耶和華。
So I will inflict punishment on Egypt, and they will know that I am the LORD.'"

| | 20 | 十一年正月初七日、耶和華的話臨到我說、
In the eleventh year, in the first month on the seventh day, the word of the LORD came to me:

| | 21 | 人子阿、我已打折埃及王法老的膀臂．沒有敷藥、也沒有用布纏好、使他有力持刀。
"Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. It has not been bound up for healing or put in a splint so as to become strong enough to hold a sword.
| |
| | 22 | 所以主耶和華如此說、看哪、我與埃及王法老為敵、必將他有力的膀臂、和已打折的膀臂、全行打斷．使刀從他手中墜落。
Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt. I will break both his arms, the good arm as well as the broken one, and make the sword fall from his hand.

| | 23 | 我必將埃及人分散在列國、四散在列邦。
I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them through the countries.
| |
| | 24 | 我必使巴比倫王的膀臂有力、將我的刀交在他手中．卻要打斷法老的膀臂、他就在巴比倫王面前唉哼、如同受死傷的人一樣。
I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before him like a mortally wounded man.

| | 25 | 我必扶持巴比倫王的膀臂、法老的膀臂卻要下垂、我將我的刀交在巴比倫王手中．他必舉刀攻擊埃及地．他們就知道我是耶和華。
I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh will fall limp. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he brandishes it against Egypt.

| | 26 | 我必將埃及人分散在列國、四散在列邦．他們就知道我是耶和華。
I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them through the countries. Then they will know that I am the LORD."
