利未記

第 20 章

1. 耶和華對摩西說、
The LORD said to Moses,
2. 你還要曉諭以色列人說、凡以色列人、或是在以色列中寄居的外人、把自己的兒女獻給摩洛的、總要治死他．本地人要用石頭把他打死。
"Say to the Israelites: 'Any Israelite or any alien living in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech must be put to death. The people of the community are to stone him.
3. 我也要向那人變臉、把他從民中剪除、因為他把兒女獻給摩洛、玷污我的聖所、褻瀆我的聖名。
I will set my face against that man and I will cut him off from his people; for by giving his children to Molech, he has defiled my sanctuary and profaned my holy name.
4. 那人把兒女獻給摩洛、本地人若佯為不見、不把他治死、
If the people of the community close their eyes when that man gives one of his children to Molech and they fail to put him to death,
5. 我就要向這人和他的家變臉、把他和一切隨他與摩洛行邪淫的人、都從民中剪除。
I will set my face against that man and his family and will cut off from their people both him and all who follow him in prostituting themselves to Molech.
6. 人偏向交鬼的、和行巫術的、隨他們行邪淫、我要向那人變臉、把他從民中剪除。
"'I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people.
7. 所以你們要自潔成聖、因為我是耶和華你們的　神。
"'Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the LORD your God.
8. 你們要謹守遵行我的律例．我是叫你們成聖的耶和華。
Keep my decrees and follow them. I am the LORD, who makes you holy.
9. 凡咒罵父母的、總要治死他、他咒罵了父母、他的罪要歸到他身上。〔罪原文作血本章同〕
"'If anyone curses his father or mother, he must be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother, and his blood will be on his own head.
10. 與鄰舍之妻行淫的、姦夫淫婦、都必治死。
"'If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.
11. 與繼母行淫的、就是羞辱了他父親、總要把他們二人治死、罪要歸到他們身上。
"'If a man sleeps with his father's wife, he has dishonored his father. Both the man and the woman must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
12. 與兒婦同房的、總要把他們二人治死、他們行了逆倫的事、罪要歸到他們身上。
"'If a man sleeps with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death. What they have done is a perversion; their blood will be on their own heads.
13. 人若與男人苟合、像與女人一樣、他們二人行了可憎的事、總要把他們治死、罪要歸到他們身上。
"'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
14. 人若娶妻、並娶其母、便是大惡、要把這三人用火焚燒、使你們中間免去大惡。
"'If a man marries both a woman and her mother, it is wicked. Both he and they must be burned in the fire, so that no wickedness will be among you.
15. 人若與獸淫合、總要治死他、也要殺那獸。
"'If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal.
16. 女人若與獸親近、與他淫合、你要殺那女人和那獸、總要把他們治死、罪要歸到他們身上。
"'If a woman approaches an animal to have sexual relations with it, kill both the woman and the animal. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
17. 人若娶他的姐妹、無論是異母同父的、是異父同母的、彼此見了下體、這是可恥的事、他們必在本民的眼前被剪除．他露了姐妹的下體、必擔當自己的罪孽。
"'If a man marries his sister, the daughter of either his father or his mother, and they have sexual relations, it is a disgrace. They must be cut off before the eyes of their people. He has dishonored his sister and will be held responsible.
18. 婦人有月經、若與他同房、露了他的下體、就是露了婦人的血源、婦人也露了自己的血源、二人必從民中剪除。
"'If a man lies with a woman during her monthly period and has sexual relations with her, he has exposed the source of her flow, and she has also uncovered it. Both of them must be cut off from their people.
19. 不可露姨母、或是姑母的下體、這是露了骨肉之親的下體、二人必擔當自己的罪孽。
"'Do not have sexual relations with the sister of either your mother or your father, for that would dishonor a close relative; both of you would be held responsible.
20. 人若與伯叔之妻同房、就羞辱了他的伯叔、二人要擔當自己的罪、必無子女而死。
"'If a man sleeps with his aunt, he has dishonored his uncle. They will be held responsible; they will die childless.
21. 人若娶弟兄之妻、這本是污穢的事、羞辱了他的弟兄、二人必無子女。
"'If a man marries his brother's wife, it is an act of impurity; he has dishonored his brother. They will be childless.
22. 所以你們要謹守遵行我一切的律例、典章、免得我領你們去住的那地、把你們吐出。
"'Keep all my decrees and laws and follow them, so that the land where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out.
23. 我在你們面前所逐出的國民、你們不可隨從他們的風俗、因為他們行了這一切的事、所以我厭惡他們。
You must not live according to the customs of the nations I am going to drive out before you. Because they did all these things, I abhorred them.
24. 但我對你們說過、你們要承受他們的地、就是我要賜給你們為業流奶與蜜之地、我是耶和華你們的　神、使你們與萬民有分別的。
But I said to you, "You will possess their land; I will give it to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey." I am the LORD your God, who has set you apart from the nations.
25. 所以你們要把潔淨、和不潔淨的禽獸、分別出來、不可因我給你們分為不潔淨的禽獸、或是滋生在地上的活物、使自己成為可憎惡的。
"'You must therefore make a distinction between clean and unclean animals and between unclean and clean birds. Do not defile yourselves by any animal or bird or anything that moves along the ground--those which I have set apart as unclean for you.
26. 你們要歸我為聖、因為我耶和華是聖的、並叫你們與萬民有分別、使你們作我的民。
You are to be holy to me because I, the LORD, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.
27. 無論男女、是交鬼的、或行巫術的、總要治死他們、人必用石頭把他們打死、罪要歸到他們身上。
"'A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.'"
