ÁÖ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ³»°Ô º¸À̽Š°ÍÀÌ ÀÌ·¯Çϴ϶ó ¿ÕÀÌ Ç®À» º¥ ÈÄ Ç®ÀÌ ´Ù½Ã ¿òµ¸±â ½ÃÀÛÇÒ ¶§¿¡ ÁÖ²²¼­ ȲÃæÀ» ÁöÀ¸½Ã¸Å

This is what the Sovereign LORD showed me: He was preparing swarms of locusts after the king's share had been harvested and just as the second crop was coming up.

ȲÃæÀÌ ¶¥ÀÇ Ç®À» ´Ù ¸ÔÀºÁö¶ó ³»°¡ °¡·ÎµÇ ÁÖ ¿©È£¿Í¿© ûÄÁ´ë »çÇϼҼ­ ¾ß°öÀÌ ¹Ì¾àÇÏ¿À´Ï ¾î¶»°Ô ¼­¸®À̱î ÇϸÅ

When they had stripped the land clean, I cried out, "Sovereign LORD, forgive! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!"

¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ÀÌ¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¶æÀ» µ¹ÀÌÄÑ °¡¶ó»ç´ë ÀÌ°ÍÀÌ ÀÌ·çÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó ÇϽô϶ó

So the LORD relented. "This will not happen," the LORD said.

ÁÖ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¶Ç ³»°Ô º¸À̽Š°ÍÀÌ ÀÌ·¯Çϴ϶ó ÁÖ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸íÇÏ¿© ºÒ·Î ¡¹úÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ½Ã´Ï ºÒÀÌ Å« ¹Ù´Ù¸¦ »ïÅ°°í À°Áö±îÁö ¸ÔÀ¸·Á ÇÏ´ÂÁö¶ó

This is what the Sovereign LORD showed me: The Sovereign LORD was calling for judgment by fire; it dried up the great deep and devoured the land.

ÀÌ¿¡ ³»°¡ °¡·ÎµÇ ÁÖ ¿©È£¿Í¿© ûÄÁ´ë ±×Ä¡¼Ò¼­ ¾ß°öÀÌ ¹Ì¾àÇÏ¿À´Ï ¾î¶»°Ô ¼­¸®À̱î ÇϸÅ

Then I cried out, "Sovereign LORD, I beg you, stop! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!"

So the LORD relented. "This will not happen either," the Sovereign LORD said.

¶Ç ³»°Ô º¸À̽Š°ÍÀÌ ÀÌ·¯Çϴ϶ó ´Ù¸²ÁÙÀ» ¶ç¿ì°í ½×Àº ´ã °ç¿¡ ÁÖ²²¼­ ¼Õ¿¡ ´Ù¸²ÁÙÀ» Àâ°í ¼­¼Ì´õ´Ï

This is what he showed me: The Lord was standing by a wall that had been built true to plumb, with a plumb line in his hand.

³»°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ¾Æ¸ð½º¾ß ³×°¡ ¹«¾ùÀ» º¸´À³Ä ³»°¡ ´ë´äÇ쵂 ´Ù¸²ÁÙÀ» ³» ¹é¼º À̽º¶ó¿¤ °¡¿îµ¥ º£Ç®°í ´Ù½Ã´Â ¿ë¼­Ä¡ ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®´Ï

And the LORD asked me, "What do you see, Amos?" "A plumb line," I replied. Then the Lord said, "Look, I am setting a plumb line among my people Israel; I will spare them no longer.

ÀÌ»èÀÇ »ê´çµéÀÌ È²ÆóµÇ¸ç À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÇ ¼º¼ÒµéÀÌ ÈÑÆÄµÉ °ÍÀÌ¶ó ³»°¡ ÀϾ Ä®·Î ¿©·Îº¸¾ÏÀÇ ÁýÀ» Ä¡¸®¶ó ÇϽô϶ó

"The high places of Isaac will be destroyed and the sanctuaries of Israel will be ruined; with my sword I will rise against the house of Jeroboam."

¶§¿¡ º¦¿¤ÀÇ Á¦»çÀå ¾Æ¸¶»þ°¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¿Õ ¿©·Îº¸¾Ï¿¡°Ô ±âº°ÇÏ¿© °¡·ÎµÇ À̽º¶ó¿¤ Á·¼Ó Áß¿¡ ¾Æ¸ð½º°¡ ¿ÕÀ» ¸ð¹ÝÇϳª´Ï ±× ¸ðµç ¸»À» ÀÌ ¶¥ÀÌ °ßµô ¼ö ¾ø³ªÀÌ´Ù

Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent a message to Jeroboam king of Israel: "Amos is raising a conspiracy against you in the very heart of Israel. The land cannot bear all his words.

¾Æ¸ð½º°¡ ¸»Çϱ⸦ ¿©·Îº¸¾ÏÀº Ä®¿¡ Á×°Ú°í À̽º¶ó¿¤Àº Á¤³ç »ç·ÎÀâÇô ±× ¶¥¿¡¼­ ¶°³ª°Ú´Ù ÇϳªÀÌ´Ù ÇÏ°í

For this is what Amos is saying: "'Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel will surely go into exile, away from their native land.'"

¾Æ¸¶»þ°¡ ¶Ç ¾Æ¸ð½º¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¼±°ßÀÚ¾ß ³Ê´Â À¯´Ù ¶¥À¸·Î µµ¸ÁÇÏ¿© °¡¼­ °Å±â¼­³ª ¶±À» ¸ÔÀ¸¸ç °Å±â¼­³ª ¿¹¾ðÇÏ°í

Then Amaziah said to Amos, "Get out, you seer! Go back to the land of Judah. Earn your bread there and do your prophesying there.

´Ù½Ã´Â º¦¿¤¿¡¼­ ¿¹¾ðÇÏÁö ¸»¶ó ÀÌ´Â ¿ÕÀÇ ¼º¼Ò¿ä ¿ÕÀÇ ±ÃÀÓÀ̴϶ó

Don't prophesy anymore at Bethel, because this is the king's sanctuary and the temple of the kingdom."

¾Æ¸ð½º°¡ ¾Æ¸¶»þ¿¡°Ô ´ë´äÇÏ¿© °¡·ÎµÇ ³ª´Â ¼±ÁöÀÚ°¡ ¾Æ´Ï¸ç ¼±ÁöÀÚÀÇ ¾Æµéµµ ¾Æ´Ï¿ä ³ª´Â ¸ñÀÚ¿ä »Í³ª¹«¸¦ ¹è¾çÇÏ´Â Àڷμ­

Amos answered Amaziah, "I was neither a prophet nor a prophet's son, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees.

¾ç¶¼¸¦ µû¸¦ ¶§¿¡ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ³ª¸¦ µ¥·Á´Ù°¡ ³»°Ô À̸£½Ã±â¸¦ °¡¼­ ³» ¹é¼º À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡°Ô ¿¹¾ðÇ϶ó Çϼ̳ª´Ï

But the LORD took me from tending the flock and said to me, 'Go, prophesy to my people Israel.'

ÀÌÁ¦ ³Ê´Â ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¸»¾¸À» µéÀ»Áö´Ï¶ó ³×°¡ À̸£±â¸¦ À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¿¹¾ðÇÏÁö ¸»¸ç ÀÌ»èÀÇ ÁýÀ» ÇâÇÏ¿© °æ°èÇÏÁö ¸»¶ó ÇϹǷÎ

Now then, hear the word of the LORD. You say, "'Do not prophesy against Israel, and stop preaching against the house of Isaac.'

¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸»¾¸ÇϽñ⸦ ³× ¾Æ³»´Â ¼ºÀ¾ Áß¿¡¼­ â±â°¡ µÉ °ÍÀÌ¿ä ³× ÀÚ³àµéÀº Ä®¿¡ ¾þµå·¯Áö¸ç ³× ¶¥Àº ÁÙ ¶ç¿ö ³ª´©ÀÏ °ÍÀÌ¸ç ³Ê´Â ´õ·¯¿î ¶¥¿¡¼­ Á×À» °ÍÀÌ¿ä À̽º¶ó¿¤Àº Á¤³ç »ç·ÎÀâÇô ±× º»Åä¿¡¼­ ¶°³ª¸®¶ó Çϼ̴À´Ï¶ó

"Therefore this is what the LORD says: "'Your wife will become a prostitute in the city, and your sons and daughters will fall by the sword. Your land will be measured and divided up, and you yourself will die in a pagan country. And Israel will certainly go into exile, away from their native land.'"
