¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ Á¾°ú »çµµÀÎ ½Ã¸ó º£µå·Î´Â ¿ì¸® Çϳª´Ô°ú ±¸ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ÀǸ¦ ÈûÀÔ¾î µ¿ÀÏÇÏ°Ô º¸¹è·Î¿î ¹ÏÀ½À» ¿ì¸®¿Í °°ÀÌ ¹ÞÀº Àڵ鿡°Ô ÆíÁöÇϳë´Ï

Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:

Çϳª´Ô°ú ¿ì¸® ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö¸¦ ¾ÍÀ¸·Î ÀºÇý¿Í Æò°­ÀÌ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ´õ¿í ¸¹À»Áö¾î´Ù

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

±×ÀÇ ½Å±âÇÑ ´É·ÂÀ¸·Î »ý¸í°ú °æ°Ç¿¡ ¼ÓÇÑ ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ÁÖ¼ÌÀ¸´Ï ÀÌ´Â ÀÚ±âÀÇ ¿µ±¤°ú ´öÀ¸·Î½á ¿ì¸®¸¦ ºÎ¸£½Å ÀÚ¸¦ ¾ÍÀ¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾ÏÀ½À̶ó

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

ÀÌ·Î½á ±× º¸¹è·Ó°í Áö±ØÈ÷ Å« ¾à¼ÓÀ» ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ÁÖ»ç ÀÌ ¾à¼ÓÀ¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ³ÊÈñ·Î Á¤¿åÀ» ÀÎÇÏ¿© ¼¼»ó¿¡¼­ ½â¾îÁú °ÍÀ» ÇÇÇÏ¿© ½ÅÀÇ ¼ºÇ°¿¡ Âü¿¹ÇÏ´Â ÀÚ°¡ µÇ°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇϼÌÀ¸´Ï

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

ÀÌ·¯¹Ç·Î ³ÊÈñ°¡ ´õ¿í Èû½á ³ÊÈñ ¹ÏÀ½¿¡ ´öÀ», ´ö¿¡ Áö½ÄÀ»,

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;

Áö½Ä¿¡ ÀýÁ¦¸¦, ÀýÁ¦¿¡ Àγ»¸¦, Àγ»¿¡ °æ°ÇÀ»,

and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;

°æ°Ç¿¡ ÇüÁ¦ ¿ì¾Ö¸¦, ÇüÁ¦ ¿ì¾Ö¿¡ »ç¶ûÀ» °ø±ÞÇ϶ó

and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.

ÀÌ·± °ÍÀÌ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ÀÖ¾î ÈíÁ·ÇÑÁï ³ÊÈñ·Î ¿ì¸® ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµ¸¦ ¾Ë±â¿¡ °ÔÀ¸¸£Áö ¾Ê°í ¿­¸Å ¾ø´Â ÀÚ°¡ µÇÁö ¾Ê°Ô ÇÏ·Á´Ï¿Í

For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ÀÌ·± °ÍÀÌ ¾ø´Â ÀÚ´Â ¼Ò°æÀ̶ó ¿ø½ÃÄ¡ ¸øÇÏ°í ±×ÀÇ ¿¾ Á˸¦ ±ú²ýÄÉ ÇϽÉÀ» Àؾú´À´Ï¶ó

But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

±×·¯¹Ç·Î ÇüÁ¦µé¾Æ ´õ¿í Èû½á ³ÊÈñ ºÎ¸£½É°ú ÅÃÇϽÉÀ» ±»°Ô Ç϶ó ³ÊÈñ°¡ ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ÇàÇÑÁï ¾ðÁ¦µçÁö ½ÇÁ·Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó

Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall,

ÀÌ°°ÀÌ ÇÏ¸é ¿ì¸® ÁÖ °ð ±¸ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ¿µ¿øÇÑ ³ª¶ó¿¡ µé¾î°¨À» ³Ë³ËÈ÷ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô Áֽø®¶ó

and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

ÀÌ·¯¹Ç·Î ³ÊÈñ°¡ ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ¾Ë°í ÀÌ¹Ì ÀÖ´Â Áø¸®¿¡ ¼¹À¸³ª ³»°¡ Ç×»ó ³ÊÈñ·Î »ý°¢ÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ·Á Çϳë¶ó

So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.

³»°¡ ÀÌ À帷¿¡ ÀÖÀ» µ¿¾È¿¡ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ Àϱú¿ö »ý°¢ÇÏ°Ô ÇÔÀÌ ¿ÇÀº ÁÙ·Î ¿©±â³ë´Ï

I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body,

ÀÌ´Â ¿ì¸® ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµ²²¼­ ³»°Ô Áö½ÃÇϽŠ°Í °°ÀÌ ³ªµµ ÀÌ À帷À» ¹þ¾î³¯ °ÍÀÌ ÀÓ¹ÚÇÑ ÁÙÀ» ¾ÍÀ̶ó

because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

³»°¡ Èû½á ³ÊÈñ·Î ÇÏ¿©±Ý ³ªÀÇ ¶°³­ ÈÄ¿¡¶óµµ ÇÊ¿äÇÒ ¶§´Â ÀÌ·± °ÍÀ» »ý°¢³ª°Ô ÇÏ·Á Çϳë¶ó

And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.

¿ì¸® ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ´É·Â°ú °­¸²ÇϽÉÀ» ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ¾Ë°Ô ÇÑ °ÍÀÌ °ø±³È÷ ¸¸µç À̾߱⸦ ÁÀÀº °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¿ä ¿ì¸®´Â ±×ÀÇ Å©½Å À§¾öÀ» Ä£È÷ º» ÀÚ¶ó

We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Áö±ØÈ÷ Å« ¿µ±¤ Áß¿¡¼­ ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ¼Ò¸®°¡ ±×¿¡°Ô ³ª±â¸¦ ÀÌ´Â ³» »ç¶ûÇÏ´Â ¾ÆµéÀÌ¿ä ³» ±â»µÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¶ó ÇÏ½Ç ¶§¿¡ Àú°¡ Çϳª´Ô ¾Æ¹öÁö²² Á¸±Í¿Í ¿µ±¤À» ¹ÞÀ¸¼Ì´À´Ï¶ó

For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

ÀÌ ¼Ò¸®´Â ¿ì¸®°¡ Àú¿Í ÇÔ²² °Å·èÇÑ »ê¿¡ ÀÖÀ» ¶§¿¡ Çϴ÷μ­ ³ª¿ÈÀ» µéÀº °ÍÀ̶ó

We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.

¶Ç ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ´õ È®½ÇÇÑ ¿¹¾ðÀÌ ÀÖ¾î ¾îµÎ¿î µ¥ ºñÃë´Â µîºÒ°ú °°À¸´Ï ³¯ÀÌ »õ¾î »ûº°ÀÌ ³ÊÈñ ¸¶À½¿¡ ¶°¿À¸£±â±îÁö ³ÊÈñ°¡ ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ÁÖÀÇÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ °¡Çϴ϶ó

And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

¸ÕÀú ¾Ë °ÍÀº °æÀÇ ¸ðµç ¿¹¾ðÀº »ç»ç·ÎÀÌ Ç® °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï´Ï

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation.

¿¹¾ðÀº ¾ðÁ¦µçÁö »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¶æÀ¸·Î ³½ °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¿ä ¿ÀÁ÷ ¼º·ÉÀÇ °¨µ¿ÇϽÉÀ» ÀÔÀº »ç¶÷µéÀÌ Çϳª´Ô²² ¹Þ¾Æ ¸»ÇÑ °ÍÀÓÀ̴϶ó

For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
