À¯´Ù ¿Õ ¾ÆÇϽþßÀÇ ¾Æµé ¿ä¾Æ½ºÀÇ ÀÌ½Ê»ï ³â¿¡ ¿¹ÈÄÀÇ ¾Æµé ¿©È£¾ÆÇϽº°¡ »ç¸¶¸®¾Æ¿¡¼­ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¿ÕÀÌ µÇ¾î ½ÊÄ¥ ³âÀ» Ä¡¸®Çϸç

In the twenty-third year of Joash son of Ahaziah king of Judah, Jehoahaz son of Jehu became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned seventeen years.

¿©È£¿Í º¸½Ã±â¿¡ ¾ÇÀ» ÇàÇÏ¿© À̽º¶ó¿¤·Î ¹üÁËÄÉ ÇÑ ´À¹åÀÇ ¾Æµé ¿©·Îº¸¾ÏÀÇ Á˸¦ ÁÀ°í ¶°³ªÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´À¸¹Ç·Î

He did evil in the eyes of the LORD by following the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit, and he did not turn away from them.

¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ À̽º¶ó¿¤À» ÇâÇÏ¿© ³ë¸¦ ¹ßÇÏ»ç ´Ã ¾Æ¶÷ ¿Õ Çϻ翤ÀÇ ¼Õ°ú ±× ¾Æµé º¥ÇÏ´åÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ ºÙÀ̴̼õ´Ï

So the LORD'S anger burned against Israel, and for a long time he kept them under the power of Hazael king of Aram and Ben-Hadad his son.

¾Æ¶÷ ¿ÕÀÌ À̽º¶ó¿¤À» ÇдëÇϹǷΠ¿©È£¾ÆÇϽº°¡ ¿©È£¿Í²² °£±¸ÇϸŠ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ µéÀ¸¼ÌÀ¸´Ï ÀÌ´Â ÀúÈñÀÇ ÇÐ´ë ¹ÞÀ½À» º¸¼ÌÀ½À̶ó

Then Jehoahaz sought the LORD'S favor, and the LORD listened to him, for he saw how severely the king of Aram was oppressing Israel.

¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ÀÌ¿¡ ±¸¿øÀÚ¸¦ À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡°Ô ÁֽøŠÀ̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ¾Æ¶÷ »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡¼­ ¹þ¾î³ª Àü°ú °°ÀÌ ÀÚ±â À帷¿¡ °ÅÇÏ¿´À¸³ª

The LORD provided a deliverer for Israel, and they escaped from the power of Aram. So the Israelites lived in their own homes as they had before.

ÀúÈñ°¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤·Î ¹üÁËÄÉ ÇÑ ¿©·Îº¸¾Ï ÁýÀÇ ÁË¿¡¼­ ¶°³ªÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í ÁÀ¾Æ ÇàÇÏ¸ç ¶Ç »ç¸¶¸®¾Æ¿¡ ¾Æ¼¼¶ó ¸ñ»óÀ» ±×Àú µÎ¾ú´õ¶ó

But they did not turn away from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, which he had caused Israel to commit; they continued in them. Also, the Asherah pole remained standing in Samaria.

¾Æ¶÷ ¿ÕÀÌ ¿©È£¾ÆÇϽºÀÇ ¹é¼ºÀ» Áø¸êÇÏ¿© ŸÀÛ¸¶´çÀÇ Æ¼²ø °°ÀÌ µÇ°Ô ÇÏ°í ¸¶º´ ¿À½Ê°ú º´°Å ½Ê ½Â°ú º¸º´ Àϸ¸ ¿Ü¿¡´Â ¿©È£¾ÆÇϽº¿¡°Ô ³²°ÜµÎÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó

Nothing had been left of the army of Jehoahaz except fifty horsemen, ten chariots and ten thousand foot soldiers, for the king of Aram had destroyed the rest and made them like the dust at threshing time.

¿©È£¾ÆÇϽºÀÇ ³²Àº »çÀû°ú ¸ðµç ÇàÇÑ °Í°ú ±× ±Ç·ÂÀº À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¿Õ ¿ª´ëÁö·«¿¡ ±â·ÏµÇÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´À³Ä

As for the other events of the reign of Jehoahaz, all he did and his achievements, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

¿©È£¾ÆÇϽº°¡ ±× ¿­Á¶¿Í ÇÔ²² ÀڸŠ»ç¸¶¸®¾Æ¿¡ Àå»çµÇ°í ±× ¾Æµé ¿ä¾Æ½º°¡ ´ë½ÅÇÏ¿© ¿ÕÀÌ µÇ´Ï¶ó

Jehoahaz rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria. And Jehoash his son succeeded him as king.

À¯´Ù ¿Õ ¿ä¾Æ½ºÀÇ »ï½ÊÄ¥ ³â¿¡ ¿©È£¾ÆÇϽºÀÇ ¾Æµé ¿ä¾Æ½º°¡ »ç¸¶¸®¾Æ¿¡¼­ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¿ÕÀÌ µÇ¾î ½ÊÀ° ³âÀ» Ä¡¸®Çϸç

In the thirty-seventh year of Joash king of Judah, Jehoash son of Jehoahaz became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned sixteen years.

¿©È£¿Í º¸½Ã±â¿¡ ¾ÇÀ» ÇàÇÏ¿© À̽º¶ó¿¤·Î ¹üÁËÄÉ ÇÑ ´À¹åÀÇ ¾Æµé ¿©·Îº¸¾ÏÀÇ ¸ðµç ÁË¿¡¼­ ¶°³ªÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í ÁÀ¾Æ ÇàÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó

He did evil in the eyes of the LORD and did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit; he continued in them.

¿ä¾Æ½ºÀÇ ³²Àº »çÀû°ú ¹«¸© ÇàÇÑ ÀÏ°ú À¯´Ù ¿Õ ¾Æ¸¶»þ¿Í ½Î¿î ±Ç·ÂÀº À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¿Õ ¿ª´ëÁö·«¿¡ ±â·ÏµÇÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´À³Ä

As for the other events of the reign of Jehoash, all he did and his achievements, including his war against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

¿ä¾Æ½º°¡ ±× ¿­Á¶¿Í ÇÔ²² ÀڸŠÀ̽º¶ó¿¤ ¿Õµé°ú ÇÔ²² »ç¸¶¸®¾Æ¿¡ Àå»çµÇ°í ¿©·Îº¸¾ÏÀÌ ±× À§¿¡ ¾ÉÀ¸´Ï¶ó

Jehoash rested with his fathers, and Jeroboam succeeded him on the throne. Jehoash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.

¿¤¸®»ç°¡ Á×À» º´ÀÌ µé¸Å À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¿Õ ¿ä¾Æ½º°¡ Àú¿¡°Ô·Î ³»·Á°¡¼­ ±× ¾ó±¼¿¡ ´«¹°À» È긮¸ç °¡·ÎµÇ ³» ¾Æ¹öÁö¿© ³» ¾Æ¹öÁö¿© À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÇ º´°Å¿Í ¸¶º´ÀÌ¿© ÇϸÅ

Now Elisha was suffering from the illness from which he died. Jehoash king of Israel went down to see him and wept over him. "My father! My father!" he cried. "The chariots and horsemen of Israel!"

¿¤¸®»ç°¡ Àú¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ È°°ú »ìµéÀ» ÃëÇϼҼ­ È°°ú »ìµéÀ» ÃëÇϸÅ

Elisha said, "Get a bow and some arrows," and he did so.

¶Ç À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¿Õ¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¿ÕÀÇ ¼ÕÀ¸·Î È°À» ÀâÀ¸¼Ò¼­ °ð ¼ÕÀ¸·Î ÀâÀ¸¸Å ¿¤¸®»ç°¡ Àڱ⠼ÕÀ¸·Î ¿ÕÀÇ ¼ÕÀ» ¾ÈÂûÇÏ°í

"Take the bow in your hands," he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king's hands.

°¡·ÎµÇ µ¿Æí âÀ» ¿©¼Ò¼­ °ð ¿­¸Å ¿¤¸®»ç°¡ °¡·ÎµÇ ½î¼Ò¼­ °ð ½î¸Å ¿¤¸®»ç°¡ °¡·ÎµÇ ÀÌ´Â ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ±¸¿øÀÇ »ì °ð ¾Æ¶÷¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ±¸¿øÀÇ »ìÀÌ´Ï ¿ÕÀÌ ¾Æ¶÷ »ç¶÷À» Áø¸êÇϵµ·Ï ¾Æº¤¿¡¼­ Ä¡¸®ÀÌ´Ù

"Open the east window," he said, and he opened it. "Shoot!" Elisha said, and he shot. "The LORD'S arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!" Elisha declared. "You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek."

¶Ç °¡·ÎµÇ »ìµéÀ» ÃëÇϼҼ­ °ð ÃëÇϸŠ¿¤¸®»ç°¡ ¶Ç À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¿Õ¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¶¥À» Ä¡¼Ò¼­ ÀÌ¿¡ ¼¼ ¹ø Ä¡°í ±×Ä£Áö¶ó

Then he said, "Take the arrows," and the king took them. Elisha told him, "Strike the ground." He struck it three times and stopped.

Çϳª´ÔÀÇ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ³ëÇÏ¿© °¡·ÎµÇ ¿ÕÀÌ ¿À·ú ¹øÀ» Ä¥ °ÍÀÌ´ÏÀÌ´Ù ±×¸®ÇÏ¿´´õ¸é ¿ÕÀÌ ¾Æ¶÷À» Áø¸êÇϵµ·Ï ÃÆÀ¸¸®ÀÌ´Ù ±×·±Áï ÀÌÁ¦´Â ¿ÕÀÌ ¾Æ¶÷À» ¼¼ ¹ø¸¸ Ä¡¸®ÀÌ´Ù Çϴ϶ó

The man of God was angry with him and said, "You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times."

¿¤¸®»ç°¡ Á×À¸¸Å Àå»çÇÏ¿´´õ´Ï ÇØ°¡ ¹Ù²î¸Å ¸ð¾Ð Àû´çÀÌ Áö°æÀ» ¹üÇÑÁö¶ó

Elisha died and was buried. Now Moabite raiders used to enter the country every spring.

¸¶Ä§ »ç¶÷À» Àå»çÇÏ´Â ÀÚµéÀÌ ±× Àû´çÀ» º¸°í ±× ½Ãü¸¦ ¿¤¸®»çÀÇ ¹¦½Ç¿¡ µéÀÌ´øÁö¸Å ½Ãü°¡ ¿¤¸®»çÀÇ »À¿¡ ´êÀÚ °ð ȸ»ýÇÏ¿© ÀϾ´õ¶ó

Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man's body into Elisha's tomb. When the body touched Elisha's bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.

¿©È£¾ÆÇϽº ¿ÕÀÇ ½Ã´ë¿¡ ¾Æ¶÷ ¿Õ Çϻ翤ÀÌ Ç×»ó À̽º¶ó¿¤À» ÇдëÇÏ¿´À¸³ª

Hazael king of Aram oppressed Israel throughout the reign of Jehoahaz.

¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¾Æºê¶óÇÔ°ú ÀÌ»è°ú ¾ß°öÀ¸·Î ´õºÒ¾î ¼¼¿ì½Å ¾ð¾àÀ» ÀÎÇÏ¿© À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡°Ô ÀºÇý¸¦ º£Ç®¾î ±àÈáÈ÷ ¿©±â½Ã¸ç ±Ç°íÇÏ»ç ¸êÇϱ⸦ Áñ°Ü ¾Æ´ÏÇϽðí À̶§±îÁö Àڱ⠾տ¡¼­ ÂѾƳ»Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϼ̴õ¶ó

But the LORD was gracious to them and had compassion and showed concern for them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To this day he has been unwilling to destroy them or banish them from his presence.

Hazael king of Aram died, and Ben-Hadad his son succeeded him as king.

¿©È£¾ÆÇϽºÀÇ ¾Æµé ¿ä¾Æ½º°¡ Çϻ翤ÀÇ ¾Æµé º¥ÇÏ´åÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡¼­ µÎ¾î ¼ºÀ¾À» ȸº¹ÇÏ¿´À¸´Ï ÀÌ ¼ºÀ¾µéÀº Àڱ⠺ÎÄ£ ¿©È£¾ÆÇϽº°¡ ÀüÀï Áß¿¡ »©¾Ñ°å´ø °ÍÀ̶ó ¿ä¾Æ½º°¡ º¥ÇÏ´åÀ» ¼¼ ¹ø Ãļ­ ÆÄÇÏ°í À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¼ºÀ¾µéÀ» ȸº¹ÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó

Then Jehoash son of Jehoahaz recaptured from Ben-Hadad son of Hazael the towns he had taken in battle from his father Jehoahaz. Three times Jehoash defeated him, and so he recovered the Israelite towns.
