| | 1 | 我所陳明在你面前的這一切咒詛、都臨到你身上、你在耶和華你 神追趕你到的萬國中、必心裡追念祝福的話。
When all these blessings and curses I have set before you come upon you and you take them to heart wherever the LORD your God disperses you among the nations, | |
| | 2 | 你和你的子孫、若盡心盡性歸向耶和華你的 神、照著我今日一切所吩咐的聽從他的話、
and when you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today, | |
| | 3 | 那時、耶和華你的 神必憐恤你、救回你這被擄的子民、耶和華你的 神要回轉過來、從分散你到的萬民中、將你招聚回來。
then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. | |
| | 4 | 你被趕散的人、就是在天涯的、耶和華你的 神也必從那裡將你招聚回來。
Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and bring you back. | |
| | 5 | 耶和華你的 神必領你進入你列祖所得的地、使你可以得著．又必善待你、使你的人數比你列祖眾多。
He will bring you to the land that belonged to your fathers, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers. | |
| | 6 | 耶和華你 神必將你心裡、和你後裔心裡的污穢除掉、好叫你盡心盡性愛耶和華你的 神、使你可以存活。
The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live. | |
| | 7 | 耶和華你的 神必將這一切咒詛加在你仇敵、和恨惡你、逼迫你的人身上。
The LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you. | |
| | 8 | 你必歸回聽從耶和華的話、遵行他的一切誡命、就是我今日所吩咐你的。
You will again obey the LORD and follow all his commands I am giving you today. | |
| | 9 | 你若聽從耶和華你 神的話、謹守這律法書上所寫的誡命、律例、又盡心盡性歸向耶和華你的 神、他必使你手裡所辦的一切事、並你身所生的、牲畜所下的、地土所產的、都綽綽有餘．因為耶和華必再喜悅你、降福與你、像從前喜悅你列祖一樣。
Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your fathers, | |

if you obey the LORD your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. | |
| | 11 | 我今日所吩咐你的誡命、不是你難行的、也不是離你遠的。
Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. | |
| | 12 | 不是在天上、使你說、誰替我們上天取下來、使我們聽見可以遵行呢．
It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, "Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?" | |
| | 13 | 也不是在海外、使你說、誰替我們過海取了來、使我們聽見可以遵行呢。
Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, "Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?" | |
| | 14 | 這話卻離你甚近、就在你口中、在你心裡、使你可以遵行。
No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it. | |
| | 15 | 看哪、我今日將生與福、死與禍、陳明在你面前。
See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. | |
| | 16 | 吩咐你愛耶和華你的 神、遵行他的道、謹守他的誡命、律例、典章、使你可以存活、人數增多、耶和華你 神就必在你所要進去得為業的地上、賜福與你。
For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. | |
| | 17 | 倘若你心裡偏離不肯聽從、卻被勾引去敬拜事奉別神、
But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, | |
| | 18 | 我今日明明告訴你們、你們必要滅亡、在你過約但河進去得為業的地上、你的日子必不長久。
I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. | |
| | 19 | 我今日呼天喚地向你作見證、我將生死、禍福、陳明在你面前、所以你要揀選生命、使你和你的後裔都得存活。
This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live | |
| | 20 | 且愛耶和華你的 神、聽從他的話、專靠他、因為他是你的生命．你的日子長久、也在乎他．這樣、你就可以在耶和華向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、起誓應許所賜的地上居住。
and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. | |
