| | 5 | 他們擺設筵席、派人守望、又喫又喝．首領阿、你們起來、用油抹盾牌。
They set the tables, they spread the rugs, they eat, they drink! Get up, you officers, oil the shields! | |
| | 6 | 主對我如此說、你去設立守望的、使他將所看見的述說。
This is what the Lord says to me: "Go, post a lookout and have him report what he sees. | |
| | 7 | 他看見軍隊、就是騎馬的一對一對地來、又看見驢隊、駱駝隊、就要側耳細聽。
When he sees chariots with teams of horses, riders on donkeys or riders on camels, let him be alert, fully alert." | |
| | 8 | 他像獅子吼叫、說、主阿、我白日常站在望樓上、整夜立在我守望所．
And the lookout shouted, "Day after day, my lord, I stand on the watchtower; every night I stay at my post. | |

| | 13 | 論亞拉伯的默示。底但結伴的客旅阿、你們必在亞拉伯的樹林中住宿。

| | 14 | 提瑪地的居民拿水來、送給口渴的、拿餅來迎接逃避的。
bring water for the thirsty; you who live in Tema, bring food for the fugitives. | |
| | 15 | 因為他們逃避刀劍、和出了鞘的刀、並上了弦的弓、與刀兵的重災。
They flee from the sword, from the drawn sword, from the bent bow and from the heat of battle. | |
| | 16 | 主對我這樣說、一年之內、照雇工的年數、基達的一切榮耀必歸於無有．
This is what the Lord says to me: "Within one year, as a servant bound by contract would count it, all the pomp of Kedar will come to an end. | |
| | 17 | 弓箭手所餘剩的、就是基達人的勇士、必然稀少．因為這是耶和華以色列的 神說的。
The survivors of the bowmen, the warriors of Kedar, will be few." The LORD, the God of Israel, has spoken. | |
