| | 1 | 曠野和乾旱之地、必然歡喜．沙漠也必快樂．又像玫瑰開花。
The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, | |
| | 2 | 必開花繁盛、樂上加樂、而且歡呼．利巴嫩的榮耀、並迦密與沙崙的華美、必賜給他．人必看見耶和華的榮耀、我們 神的華美。
it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God. | |
| | 3 | 你們要使軟弱的手堅壯、無力的膝穩固。
Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; | |
| | 4 | 對膽怯的人說、你們要剛強、不要懼怕．看哪、你們的 神必來報仇、必來施行極大的報應、他必來拯救你們。
say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you." | |
| | 5 | 那時瞎子的眼必睜開、聾子的耳必開通。
Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. | |
| | 6 | 那時瘸子必跳躍像鹿、啞吧的舌頭必能歌唱．在曠野必有水發出、在沙漠必有河湧流。
Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. | |
| | 7 | 發光的沙、〔或作蜃樓〕要變為水池、乾渴之地、要變為泉源．在野狗躺臥之處、必有青草、蘆葦、和蒲草。
The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. | |
| | 8 | 在那裡必有一條大道、稱為聖路．污穢人不得經過、必專為贖民行走、行路的人雖愚昧、也不至失迷。
And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it. | |
| | 9 | 在那裡必沒有獅子、猛獸也不登這路、在那裡都遇不見．只有贖民在那裡行走。
No lion will be there, nor will any ferocious beast get up on it; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, | |
| | 10 | 並且耶和華救贖的民必歸回、歌唱來到錫安．永樂必歸到他們的頭上、他們必得著歡喜快樂、憂愁歎息盡都逃避。
and the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. | |
