¹ß¶÷ÀÌ ÀÚ±â¿Í À̽º¶ó¿¤À» ÃູÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¼±È÷ ¿©±â½ÉÀ» º¸°í Àü°ú °°ÀÌ »ç¼úÀ» ¾²Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í ±× ³¸À» ±¤¾ß·Î ÇâÇÏ¿©

Now when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he did not resort to sorcery as at other times, but turned his face toward the desert.

´«À» µé¾î À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÌ ±× ÁöÆÄ´ë·Î °ÅÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» º¸´Â µ¿½Ã¿¡ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ½ÅÀÌ ±× À§¿¡ ÀÓÇϽÅÁö¶ó

When Balaam looked out and saw Israel encamped tribe by tribe, the Spirit of God came upon him

±×°¡ ³ë·¡¸¦ Áö¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ºê¿ÃÀÇ ¾Æµé ¹ß¶÷ÀÌ ¸»ÇÏ¸ç ´«À» °¨¾Ò´ø ÀÚ°¡ ¸»Çϸç

and he uttered his oracle: "The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of one whose eye sees clearly,

Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¸»¾¸À» µè´Â ÀÚ, Àü´ÉÀÚÀÇ ÀÌ»óÀ» º¸´Â ÀÚ, ¾þµå·Á¼­ ´«À» ¶áÀÚ°¡ ¸»Çϱ⸦

the oracle of one who hears the words of God, who sees a vision from the Almighty, who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened:

¾ß°öÀÌ¿© ³× À帷ÀÌ, À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÌ¿© ³× °Åó°¡ ¾îÂî ±×¸® ¾Æ¸§´Ù¿î°í

"How beautiful are your tents, O Jacob, your dwelling places, O Israel!

±× ¹ú¾îÁüÀÌ °ñÂ¥±â °°°í °­ °¡ÀÇ µ¿»ê °°À¸¸ç ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ½ÉÀ¸½Å ħÇâ¸ñµé °°°í ¹°°¡ÀÇ ¹éÇâ¸ñµé °°µµ´Ù

"Like valleys they spread out, like gardens beside a river, like aloes planted by the LORD, like cedars beside the waters.

±× Åë¿¡¼­´Â ¹°ÀÌ ³ÑÄ¡°Ú°í ±× Á¾ÀÚ´Â ¸¹Àº ¹°°¡¿¡ ÀÖÀ¸¸®·Î´Ù ±× ¿ÕÀÌ ¾Æ°¢º¸´Ù ³ôÀ¸´Ï ±× ³ª¶ó°¡ ÁøÈïÇϸ®·Î´Ù

Water will flow from their buckets; their seed will have abundant water. "Their king will be greater than Agag; their kingdom will be exalted.

Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±×¸¦ ¾Ö±Á¿¡¼­ ÀεµÇÏ¿© ³»¼ÌÀ¸´Ï ±× ÈûÀÌ µé¼Ò¿Í °°µµ´Ù ±× Àû±¹À» »ïÅ°°í ±×µéÀÇ »À¸¦ ²ªÀ¸¸ç È­»ìÀ» ½î¾Æ ²ç¶ÕÀ¸¸®·Î´Ù

"God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox. They devour hostile nations and break their bones in pieces; with their arrows they pierce them.

²Ý¾î ¾É°í ´©¿òÀÌ ¼ö»çÀÚ¿Í °°°í ¾Ï»çÀڿ͵µ °°À¸´Ï ÀÏÀ¸Å² ÀÚ ´©±¸ÀÌ·ª ³Ê¸¦ ÃູÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¸¶´Ù º¹À» ¹ÞÀ» °ÍÀÌ¿ä ³Ê¸¦ ÀúÁÖÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¸¶´Ù ÀúÁÖ¸¦ ¹ÞÀ»Áö·Î´Ù

Like a lion they crouch and lie down, like a lioness--who dares to rouse them? "May those who bless you be blessed and those who curse you be cursed!"

¹ß¶ôÀÌ ¹ß¶÷¿¡°Ô ³ëÇÏ¿© ¼Õ»ÁÀ» Ä¡¸ç ¹ß¶÷¿¡°Ô ¸»Ç쵂 ³»°¡ ±×´ë¸¦ ºÎ¸¥ °ÍÀº ³» ¿ø¼ö¸¦ ÀúÁÖÇ϶ó ÇÔÀ̾î´Ã ±×´ë°¡ ÀÌ°°ÀÌ ¼¼ ¹ø ±×µéÀ» ÃູÇÏ¿´µµ´Ù

Then Balak's anger burned against Balaam. He struck his hands together and said to him, "I summoned you to curse my enemies, but you have blessed them these three times.

±×·¯¹Ç·Î ±×´ë´Â ÀÌÁ¦ ±×´ëÀÇ °÷À¸·Î ´Þ·Á°¡¶ó ³»°¡ ±×´ë¸¦ ³ô¿© ½ÉÈ÷ Á¸±ÍÄÉ Çϱâ·Î ¶æÇÏ¿´´õ´Ï ¿©È£¿Í°¡ ±×´ë¸¦ ¸·¾Æ Á¸±ÍÄ¡ ¸øÇÏ°Ô Çϼ̵µ´Ù

Now leave at once and go home! I said I would reward you handsomely, but the LORD has kept you from being rewarded."

¹ß¶÷ÀÌ ¹ß¶ô¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ´ç½ÅÀÌ ³»°Ô º¸³½ »çÀڵ鿡°Ô ³»°¡ °íÇÏ¿© À̸£Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´³ªÀ̱î

Balaam answered Balak, "Did I not tell the messengers you sent me,

°¡·É ¹ß¶ôÀÌ ±× Áý¿¡ Àº±ÝÀ» °¡µæÈ÷ ä¿ö¼­ ³»°Ô ÁÙÁö¶óµµ ³ª´Â ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¸»¾¸À» ¾î±â°í ¼±¾Ç°£ ÀÓÀÇ·Î ÇàÇÏÁö ¸øÇÏ°í ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸»¾¸ÇϽŠ´ë·Î ¸»Çϸ®¶ó ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´³ªÀ̱î

'Even if Balak gave me his palace filled with silver and gold, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the LORD--and I must say only what the LORD says'?

ÀÌÁ¦ ³ª´Â ³» ¹é¼º¿¡°Ô·Î µ¹¾Æ°¡°Å´Ï¿Í µéÀ¸¼Ò¼­ ³»°¡ ÀÌ ¹é¼ºÀÌ ÈÄÀÏ¿¡ ´ç½ÅÀÇ ¹é¼º¿¡°Ô ¾î¶»°Ô ÇÒ °ÍÀ» ´ç½Å¿¡°Ô °íÇϸ®ÀÌ´Ù ÇÏ°í

Now I am going back to my people, but come, let me warn you of what this people will do to your people in days to come."

Then he uttered his oracle: "The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of one whose eye sees clearly,

Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¸»¾¸À» µè´Â ÀÚ°¡ ¸»Çϸç Áö±ØÈ÷ ³ôÀ¸½Å ÀÚÀÇ Áö½ÄÀ» ¾Æ´Â ÀÚ, Àü´ÉÀÚÀÇ ÀÌ»óÀ» º¸´Â ÀÚ, ¾þµå·Á¼­ ´«À» ¶á ÀÚ°¡ ¸»Çϱ⸦

the oracle of one who hears the words of God, who has knowledge from the Most High, who sees a vision from the Almighty, who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened:

³»°¡ ±×¸¦ º¸¾Æµµ ÀÌ ¶§ÀÇ ÀÏÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¸ç ³»°¡ ±×¸¦ ¹Ù¶óº¸¾Æµµ °¡±î¿î ÀÏÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï·Î´Ù ÇÑ º°ÀÌ ¾ß°ö¿¡°Ô¼­ ³ª¿À¸ç ÇÑ È¦ÀÌ À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡°Ô¼­ ÀϾ¼­ ¸ð¾ÐÀ» ÀÌÆí¿¡¼­ ÀúÆí±îÁö Ãļ­ ÆÄÇÏ°í ¶Ç ¼Òµ¿ÇÏ´Â ÀڽĵéÀ» ´Ù ¸êÇϸ®·Î´Ù

"I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the sons of Sheth.

±× ¿ø¼ö ¿¡µ¼Àº ±×µéÀÇ »ê¾÷ÀÌ µÇ¸ç ±× ¿ø¼ö ¼¼Àϵµ ±×µéÀÇ »ê¾÷ÀÌ µÇ°í ±× µ¿½Ã¿¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤Àº ¿ë°¨È÷ ÇൿÇϸ®·Î´Ù

Edom will be conquered; Seir, his enemy, will be conquered, but Israel will grow strong.

ÁÖ±ÇÀÚ°¡ ¾ß°ö¿¡°Ô¼­ ³ª¼­ ³²Àº ÀÚµéÀ» ±× ¼ºÀ¾¿¡¼­ ¸êÀýÇϸ®·Î´Ù ÇÏ°í

A ruler will come out of Jacob and destroy the survivors of the city."

¶Ç ¾Æ¸»·ºÀ» ¹Ù¶óº¸¸ç ³ë·¡¸¦ Áö¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ¾Æ¸»·ºÀº ¿­±¹ Áß À¸¶äÀ̳ª Á¾¸»Àº ¸ê¸Á¿¡ À̸£¸®·Î´Ù

Then Balaam saw Amalek and uttered his oracle: "Amalek was first among the nations, but he will come to ruin at last."

¶Ç °¡ÀÎ Á·¼ÓÀ» ¹Ù¶óº¸¸ç ³ë·¡¸¦ Áö¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ³ÊÀÇ °Åó°¡ °ß°íÇÏ´Ï ³× º¸±ÝÀÚ¸®´Â ¹ÙÀ§¿¡ ÀÖµµ´Ù

Then he saw the Kenites and uttered his oracle: "Your dwelling place is secure, your nest is set in a rock;

±×·¯³ª °¡ÀÎÀÌ ¼è¹ÌÇϸ®´Ï ³ªÁß¿¡´Â ¾Ñ¼ö¸£ÀÇ Æ÷·Î°¡ µÇ¸®·Î´Ù ÇÏ°í

yet you Kenites will be destroyed when Asshur takes you captive."

¶Ç ³ë·¡¸¦ Áö¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ½½ÇÁ´Ù Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ÀÌ ÀÏÀ» ÇàÇϽø®´Ï ±× ¶§¿¡ »ì ÀÚ°¡ ´©±¸ÀÌ·ª

Then he uttered his oracle: "Ah, who can live when God does this?

±êµõ Çغ¯¿¡¼­ ¹èµéÀÌ ¿Í¼­ ¾Ñ¼ö¸£¸¦ ÇдëÇÏ¸ç ¿¡º§À» ±«·Ó°Ô Çϸ®¶ó¸¶´Â ±×µµ ¸ê¸ÁÇϸ®·Î´Ù ÇÏ°í

Ships will come from the shores of Kittim; they will subdue Asshur and Eber, but they too will come to ruin."

¹ß¶÷ÀÌ ÀϾ Àڱ⠰÷À¸·Î µ¹¾Æ°¬°í ¹ß¶ôµµ Àڱ⠱æ·Î °¬´õ¶ó

Then Balaam got up and returned home and Balak went his own way.
